Born in Blood
From the first drop of blood that had ever fallen to the ground, the Lady of Chains was awakened. It is from this blood drawn in anger that she was empowered. In this blood she bathes, soaking in the hate and rage of her servants.
Servants of the Lady of Chains follow the philosophy of blood and war. Pain is the ultimate test of life and one cannot experience life without the pain of the flesh. Both sadistically and self-inflicted, it is the pleasure of the flesh only enlightened can see as real experience. Pain allows those followers to reach a state of higher understanding so they may one day commune with the Lady.
War is the ceremony of blood that pays homage to her ways. In battle, the blood which is shed in her name feeds her power. It is the bath in which she bathes. So too must her followers soak in the blood, for blood carries the wisdom of the divine. Devour the heart, for it is the source. It is pure in the richness of attaining her divine power.
The Divine Truth
The Queen of Blades only demands one rule from all. The written laws of mortal kind hold no place in her courts. A war is chaos, but a war may also restore order. The battlefield is where all of Her rituals and rites are performed. The ceremonies in her name, the disputes of houses, the tests of ones deserving of life are all determined through the rites of blood and battle. To the victor goes the heart for consumption and thus the perpetuation of wisdom and enlightenment continue.
The Beliefs of the Raven
Never do to another, what you have not suffered through yourself.
Any of your blood spilled in combat, is your tribute to Her greatness, any blood you spill is your Tithing.
The devout should allow their prey to strike them, before they smite them.
It is not how much suffering and torment you can handle, but rather how you come out of it in the end.
Through Suffering we gather strength, resilience and power.
Through Pain we find life.
Without pain, without suffering, we are dead inside, only through these emotions, are we ever truly alive.
All emotions are based on feeling Pain or Suffering, or the lack of one, the other, or both.
The path to enlightenment, is filled with self-sacrifice, torment, and suffering.
Blessed be the tortured souls, for the untested know not the extent of their power.
Blessed be those who bleed, for their blood is payment unto Her.
Suffering, is the purest form of worship. Torment without purpose is blasphemy.
