IG Board Cleanup - Post-August event

The IG boards are supposed to represent the wall of the Dragon's Claw Inn, that has been set aside for posting notes by and for the public.

Given that the boards haven't been cleaned up since January of 2008  / 1208, the wall now has more AP that Sorel...

Starting with the August event, and each event thereafter, I will be doing a manual cleanup of the boards after each event.  Any threads that have not been posted to in 60 days will be cleared out automatically.  Stickied threads will remain untouched.  Attempts to keep a thread for the sake of keeping it by "/bumping" them will be ignored, unless there is a valid reason for thread necromancy.

I'll try to get this to be automatic, but the current forums software do not allow for this without pruning ALL of the forums, which we don't want.

what about moving those dead threads to an archive or some other board where they can still be accessed?

It doesn't make sense to keep them around In-Game.  Remember, this is paper on wall - how many laundromats with bulletin boards have someone that archives all the old crap and keeps it in storage, for customers who were looking for that flyer from last year?

If your character is the kind who would want to archive such things, you're welcome to copy and paste the posts.  The guardsman who minds the board (the same one that makes sure posts are in the Koromyran common language, and not posted by known criminals, and that the poster is literate... suck job, but someone has to do it...) is merely keeping the papers on the wall from getting too messy.
