The following changes have been made, to streamline or clarify existing rules:

The text on speaking languages in the Racial rules has been dropped.  The following text has been added to the Language rules:

For the sake of simplicity and ease of play, it is assumed that characters starting play speak the common language of Koromyre.  The skill Literacy will allow a character to write in Kormyrian, The Literacy: Other skill denotes a language that has a written as well as oral form, and a character can only write in that language if she possesses the appropriate skill.

The skill Satyr's Wine has been revised, as follows:

This skill allows the Satyr to begin the event with one bottle of Satyr's Wine.  The bottle is the normal size for a wine bottle, ands contains 12 doses of Satyr Wine.  Drinking one dose or more of Satyr Wine induces minor, harmless hallucinations for a duration of thirty minutes. No item card is required for the wine.  Any remaining wine automatically expires at the end of the event.  Satyr Wine is considered a Rank One Poison for the purposes of resisting or treating its effects.  Players are encouraged to bring their own bottle, and decorate and personalize it accordingly.

For Falling Damage, the text "Resist, Stoneskin, Barkskin, and Resilience will remove 10 feet from the total distance fallen"  has been changed to "A non-weapon, physical defense will remove 10 feet from the total distance fallen," instead of listing specific skills.

The prerequisite for Deflect on the Swashbuckler list has been changed to 5th level to bring it in line with other level-based prerequisites.

Iron Body is now periodic, instead of "at the morning period change."

The following text is added to the rules for Promotional skills:

For the purposes of combining with other abilities and effects, Promotional Skills are not considered to be Lower List skills, even though they are listed alongside them.

The racial skill "Magic Resistance" has been renamed "Resist Magic" to bring it in line with other, similar racial skills (Resist Poison and Resist Disease).

The skill Cleric's Weapon has been reworded as follows:

The Cleric may purchase a single, specific weapon skill that falls within the tenants of their Deity's choice for a weapon (i.e. - 1 Handed Edge, Bastard Blunt, 2 Handed Blunt, etc.).  This skill may be purchased multiple times for different sizes of weapons, or different weapons if allowed.  Please see the "Deities of Arawyn" section for the appropriate Holy Weapon(s) for each deity.

The new wording on this would make Dodge a viable defense against falling damage.  Am I correct in assuming this should not be the case?

Dodge is fine.  Consider it landing slightly more athletically than normal - not enough to be unharmed, but enough to help.

Can multiple defenses be called to reduce the damage by more than 10 feet?

No - that part of the rule has not changed.
