first ill start with the few low lights

sat night hurting my leg falling after the beholder and still not being able to walk XD

fighting one handed for the time i was doing combat because of stitches

Now to the good stuff...

Attention... mmm feed my ego... tell me how great of a person i was...

in all seriousness its sad that the greatest moments of rp i got with a ton of people were as a spirt when i couldnt comfort them... the number of people making them selves cry was out standing

hearing about the funeral preperations

Hearing another plan in the works and the look on my face

"Kwildar, this is your story, your the hero of this one... i was mearly the prolouge... its up to you now little brother"

Not being sure how i kept my composure so well as ghost magnus, when matt was like (awww shit what do i do now)

Looking forward to what comes ahead, no matter which plan goes off, prolly wont start a new P.C. for a bit need to get new costumes and weapons etc... but we will see

Oh wow, where to start?

Highlights:
1. Partaking in the hookah for the first time.
2. Witnessing the attack from the Chaos priest, Watching friends turn against friends was tough!
3. Being possessed by an Ilithed during the baby mod. Seriously, I loved every second of it. So much power! ....and no free will. :( Also, much laughs to whoever arranged those two guys I paralyzed in such compromising positions...
4. Getting attacked by drow and randomly being thrown into Father Edwin's cabin.
5. Having a wonderful IG conversation about men and relationships with Ilona on Saturday.
6. Hair stroking circle with Hamish and Ilona.
7. The Exclusive KR Cuddle Puddle.
8. Feast! Such good food, and wonderful entertainment! Thank you, Yahtzi!

Lowlights:
(There aren't too many, I was very satisfied with this event.)
1. Mosquito bite count = 4, all on my hands.
2. Having to leave early Sunday morning.

Overall, though, it was a great event.

With a lot on my mind this weekend, I managed to find some excitement.
-Friday night bounty hunters trying to capture me.  Hilarious.
-The majesty that was the Illithid.  I lost all form of coherent thought process.
-Geoff Schaller is my hero in the graveyard.  Couldn't have been more perfect.
-Saturday afternoon lazy day.  I miss those.
-Main mod was awesome. KNIFE!-LOOT!-KNIFE!-LOOT!
-Team Dreaga'mire had the most drow kills.
-Losing another member of the Darkheart family.  (not so much highlight, but an impressive event.)

Wow, just when I think a second event will be a crap-shoot off of the previous week's event, I am happily proven wrong.

Friday Night:

-Misaki entering a trance in the middle of the inn and people thinking he's paralyzed.  5 minutes later, massive freak-out.  Thanks to everybody who made it even more believable :D
-Later that same night, invoking an ancient spell that caused an orange sorcery spell to activate and send me 1500 years in the past and being given a powerful artifact item.  Citizens of Travance, get ready to have some fun  ;D
-NPC shift with Cam ==>  Win.  Cam, I love doing NPC work with you, it's a lot of fun and I can't wait for next 2-6am!

Saturday:

-RP-ing constant headaches and reprises of the visions I had (while I'm at it, Bob you're awesome.  Just want to put that out there for you to openly know if I haven't said it enough   :D ) and people being concerned enough to ask how I was
-officially meeting (now Dame!) Mixolidia and having a nice long talk about finding a scroll dropped by powerful people who don't want the world to be messed up
-...then thinking we found the scroll, only to realize that it was blank and a con  :-[
-Receiving my first ritual!  Having angel eyes is so cool!  Too bad it ended a lil early due to some unfortunate circumstances...more on this later >.>
-Going through a mirror to fight undead, a demon, and (thankfully not me but) each other.  Well done to whoever planned this awesome mod
-The touch tourny and fighting Colin, Billiam, Baoyu, and others was insanely fun!  Good match everybody!  Too bad the jester showed up afterwards  >:(
-Having another vision and realizing along with Gideon that the scroll dropped by these powerful protectors of history isn't a physical scroll.  Yup, the scroll is good ole' Misaki.  Yay, he's important.  Boo, he's a target now.
-Learning about the Sparks, 5 Books of Knowledge, and meeting Lucian

Main Mod:

-to start, anybody with "sense magic" would have instantly loved me: somewhere between 10-12 enchantments/prayers/etc on me all for the epic battle
-while running away from Omni, getting seperated from the group with 3 others, running around dodging dark elf fights, and then re-joining the group, still running from and trying to capture Omni.  lol
-got to completely waste some Dark Elf slaves on my own.  Big sword = nice reach
-being effective during the big battle!  Yup, actually damaged a high powered drow.  w00t
-Losing my angel eyes by looking into an orange sorcery portal...rigged with Ritual of Dark Justice.  Worst.  Pain.  Ever.

Sunday:

*sigh*  I was awoken in the morning to Baoyu running up to my room and alerting me that Sorel was killed, along with several others...then later finding out that Magnus could not return to us anymore.  That was devistating.  Got to speak with his spirit later on and actually started to cry it was so bad.  Shortly thereafter, spoke with Lethias and was accepted as his student to become a witch hunter to follow in Magnus' footsteps

-taking out Misaki's anguish by beating on waves of trolls and ogres.  Thanks Monster Marshalls for finding a way to help the majority of us cope with a huge loss

IG and OOG, realizing that Misaki is going absolutely nuts with trying to figure out who or what he is, though Gideon would say otherwise with a definite answer  ;)

Lowlights:

-having to repair one of my swords twice in a weekend.  Reinforcement time!
-not sleeping the first night

Overall, A+++  this event on everything.  Thanks to everybody for such an amazing weekend!!!

This weekend was amazing. I've never ran around so much in one event and I didn't get hit/fall in a way to injure myself the entire time.

Friday
-"You did what to my armor?"
-First use of Windwalker... right through a thorn bush

Saturday
-I don't really remember what I did that morning except lots of RP. I like RP though so I will not complain ^__^
-"Forget this frilly stuff, I'm learning how to weild a sword again!" Ilana just wasn't meant to be a 'proper lady'
-Elemental Elemental
-Omni. Ilana has never felt so cowardly but she stood her ground long enough to keep those she was meant to watch as close by as possible at least...
-Misaki and Ilana have come to an understanding I think. I like it.

Sunday Morning-NPC
-Werefox! Apparently I was very cute lol. I had the chance to gank like 5 people but my conscience couldn't handle that. I let myself get caught (Though Orion having Sense Life let me get caught sooner then I would've liked :sad:)
-Galladellian Priestess having to kill her undead son... good RP all around, thanks guys ^^
-Anti-witch hunter. It didn't go as planned but the main goal was still achieved.
Quotes for the evening:
"My life sucked before lycanthropy"
"You fell for the oldest trick in the book! No wonder you haven't been housed yet!"

Sunday
-Waking up to 'Sorel died and Magnus is dead-' and going from laying down to on my feet in less then a second. The day got more interesting from there.
-Furious Confusion. w.t.f. I'm happy that it was Erdrick and friends I ran into and not a young character
-Ilana's going for the more honest path. She just hopes it doesn't bite her in the end even though it tends to nip so far.
-Revelations.... just wow.

This was a great event for me overall.

Npc'ing as undead Yahtzi was a blast.  Also running halfway across the camp as a wild mage with about 15 people chasing me.

Only being 24 candy corn off in the guessing game. (thank you useless $75k engineering education)

Trying to spread the word of Valos via the 599 candy corn i just won

Walking down the path to the lake and tearing up as I saw Orion. (stupid redic, RP session)

Helping the baron command the troops of the lands on main mod.

Getting to meet and talk to many new people in town is also a great experience.

Its great to be back KR!!!!

Event highs and lows:

Friday Highs:

RP with everyone around my hookah.  The conversations varied from faith and religion all away around to joyful witty banter.  Getting to know the characters behind the swinging sticks is always fantastic for me.

Graveyard plot-intro mod.  I love seeing longer term plot bundles start to open.

Having our entire camping area slide into character for RP hours before lay-on was called.

Saturday Highs:

Most of my highs on Saturday came from my time as an NPC.  Playing a priest of Malyc that had everyone seeing his philosophical viewpoint (and some of them agreeing with it) until he began prayers for the group in the name of Malyc.

When I was playing a goblin surrounded by three ogres who went insane when people offered him 'food or shiny'.  Having Liam jump on my back as that gobling for a minute of comedic hilarity.

Playing a farmer who had been slaughtered by the deformed spiders, whose brother dragged his corpse around until I was eventually pulled through the focus.  All in all, some great RP scenarios.

... back to PC time...

Undead lower level mod.  NOT falling every time something actually got to hit me was a nice change.

Having people actually recognize Peatros instead of just saying 'your one of those Yhatzis'.

Interactions with the witch-hunters and the other wild mages.

Fighting my way through two combat mini mods, sneaking silently a few feet behind two drow assassins, and killing three drow slaves just so I could make my way over to ask for a date for the upcoming ball.  This is what we refer to as skewed priorities.

Weekend Lows:
Having our cabin raided every night nearly every event (or loud monster plot screaming right outside the door).  Zero hours of sleep Friday night made it difficult to drag myself up for paperwork Saturday morning.

Having to leave after main mod.  I would have had to left around 4 in the morning Sunday if I did stay the night and after running around serving food, doing my paperwork shift, and main mod... I was spent.

Good Event was good

Friday!
-Being there for a friend
-Elias as Balthier "That's aw-soooome"
-me "Out-Of-Game: Gaaaay"
-Dave M - "In-Game: Gaaaay"
-Drega'mire meeting: Catering done by me!
-Not yet cloak weather, and having a 3$ fleece save my neck from strangulation

Saturday!
-Sludgebear. Turning Longwyns into eco-terrorists. I did enjoy getting wailed on. My only regret is not remembering all my tag skills. Pissed me off to no end. NO END!
-Having undead banter turn into Sorel standing over my crumbled body shouting "Who's your daddy?" is a highlight.
-Odo Time! Signing up for the tourny, and almost forgetting about it.
-Handing out Durables like candy

Ib "What's this?"
Odo "A contract, for free!."
Ib "What for?"
Odo "Masonry. It'll help you improve your standards of living."
Ib "Why?"
Odo "Just take the freaking thing!"

-Mithral'd!
-"I wasn't being metaphorical, we actually use goblins as axle grease to keep the war machine moving."
FIGHT!
-If I had my stick, that fight would be a tad quicker. The BFH is really only for show now a days. Good fight. Wish I didn't blow my two F-2-S's so early, but I needed to catch my breath.
Feast was astounding!
-Fire and more RP
*Distant wolf howls in the night under a full moon. Finding out it's just pranksters*
Odo "A full moon. A time for werecreatures and assholes.
-Quotables
*Gideon Weaveforger crafting Jiltanith's new poleaxe. Miso drunkenly stumbles up to the forge*
Miso "Gideon, why are you hammering on that Mermaid?"
Jiltanith "Because you drank Satyr's Wine."
Miso "Works for me."

Main Mod
-Dorian appearing, congrats all around and ending up on the uber-drow module. Joining Emar as the party buffer with his earth elemental.
-Dark Intimidation is no bueno when it's twice your level.
-Being glad I took Break Mind Control over Pacify.
-Not being 'KNIFE-LOOT' with the undead.

Sunday
Waking up with the feeling of dread early
Sadness.

Great event! Can't wait for the next one!

"Praise be to Enax, and blessing to his followers."

Friday night
-npcing and only having to do makeup once, start as zombie-->ghoul-->greater revanant and told to recycle alot. i love reusing make up concepts! then getting sent out as a drow slave and watching as one of the towns members struck down one of us asking for help saying "they are at peace with galladel." seeing that he was asking for help and screaming at her saying she's a murderer! saying that if she had time to kill him she had time to heal him. Saying "although you have the pointed ears, you have the wrong skin color to be a murderer!"

After NPC shift
-going back and getting into character (finally) when getting back up to the inn, i hear that my options are 1.) fight a bunch of really powerful drow = death 2.) back hand a really ticked off eye ball which could turn me into dust therefor = death. So I chose the eyeball, wanted to go out with a bang.
-being really happy i decided to go on that mod with Cal McLuer because when we got to the maze Wally's like "anyone with lore forest step up" and me and Cal were the only ones! and then later "if anyone has tracking come here" again just me and cal. feeling useful is awesome!
-feeling good that Siegfred thanked both cal and I for going to find omni because we were a big help. also being one of the higher levels on that mod felt good. promptly after was bed time!

Saturday
-waking up for a guards meeting i was told was at 10 finding out it was really at noon and being disgruntled cuz i could have slept 2 more hours.
-running around the woods with Teeg (sp?) to learn how to hide myself in the woods. Very fun, awesome RP
- running back up to the Inn and learning how to read better from Kwildar.
Kwildar: now repeat after me, the fox ran surreptitiously and quickly up to hill."
Pracika: The fox ran syrup-tissue-ly and quickly up the hill."
Kwildar: that's close. you want to also look into reading a thesaurus, the like the word and saurus like the creatures of olden times"
-eating curry. diane your cooking is always amazing!
-fiery tar bear = suck. being a barbarian walking down to the tar bear and walking up on the mages guild meeting and hearing and seeing spells thrown around like candy and slowly walking backwards feeling highly uncomfortable.
-tracking thieves that stole from my husband and having the trail run cold at the inn.
-teaching Cal lore: lycanthrope and Keir (Sean Connery) Inviolate form. I hope i was a good teacher.
- talking to Lord Ardentfyre pt 1 = awesome Rp about how although i'm a barbarian I respect him because he respects my people. After clearing some things up asking him for some time to speak with Rayven before I decide whether or not to become a vassle.
-having some very very very in depth rp with Rayven and Garreth.
- having some good Rp with Pietros (sp?) about how I love yahtzis and satyrs and having some awesome rp about how we need to be proud of who we are born as.
-Watching the fighting competition from a comfy tree perch and then having to close my eyes only to be attacked by Jesters everywhere! it sucked! but having Cal win the competition was pretty awesome!
-FEAST WAS AWESOME!!!!! end of story! Remi's song was hilarious! two thumbs up
-standing on the porch with a few rangers and druids, watching the sky let loose with thunder, lighting, and falling deadly walnuts, turning to them and saying "ya know, i think this is natures way of saying we should have more people attuned to the grove." watching people knod agreement

Main Mod
- playing up the hurry up and wait game and having sooo many defenses and things cast on me: anoint, preserve life, aid, prowess, blade of victory, inviolate form, cats like grace, among a ton of other things
-finding i had to be on a different team as my husband and feeling like i was going to my death.
-running through the woods like a wild person and being impressed how quick i could outrun my asthma. hiding in a tent and having omni look in and blast someone but i escaped his line of site and ran out the back falling on my way out and thinking" please don't trample my head, please don't trample my head!" getting up and still running into the woods.
-hiding down in the camp near the gypsy caravan and only having myself, Cael and Lina behind a tent. Peaking out to see there was no one around and looking back to say "they left us. we can't stay here." watching the high levels walk by figuring we have more chance of  walking through the woods and surviving as three versus going against what they were fighting.
-Successfully leading a non com satyr and a very jingly gypsy to safety, and as a team finding Magnus and having Cael save him. Felt very accomplished. Finding Cal McLuer wandering through the woods alone looking for me and being so happy he kept his word not to leave me. Running back up to the inn avoiding dark elves and getting to sit down.
-after catching my breath, having laughing bear wish to learn the path of a forest warrior and walking the entire camp down to the water and not being bothered by monsters. Hearing a whole group of really angry sounding coyotes on the near shore of the lake was a bit intimidating OOG.
-coming back to hear a Galladellian priestess say that undead lizardkin stole her son AKA Ethan Archangel breaks this mod. Ethan Calling Pheonix for the heck of it.
-Having my IG brother in law say some unneeded catty remarks about "tough love" when the priestess had to strike down her own son and promptly getting back to the inn, having seamus turn him to stone for 15 minutes and then giving him a stern talking to about it afterwards. after that it was bedtime!

Sunday
-waking up to aliester screaming like crazy and figuring it was best to stay in the tent.
-then having Rayven walk into the tent i was staying in and accusing me of sleeping with another man even though the cots were spaced and arms length apart and explaining to him that we could both put up walls to protect ourselves at night.
-breakfast om nom nom nom i love galens omlettes
-Trogers of death and doom
-having a chat with Father Edwin about how there is so much stress between me and rayven and having him suggest and press "talk to Lady Rosa about a divorce."

overall i had a blast! whether held out and wasn't freezing, mud was avoidable in spots, but it was great!

"There is a difference between a hero and a coward. A Hero wakes willing to risk death. A coward wakes wishing for it."

If you have a rules issue with another player, posting it on the forums after the event is NOT the way to handle it.

Rules Marshals and Officers are available the whole event, specifically for this kind of thing.  If you see someone breaking the rules, intentionally or not, tell a Marshal IMMEDIATELY.  Don't wait until the game is over, and don't take matters into your own hands.  That's why the Marshals are there.

Overall this event was the most fun I have had at an event in a while. I got to play a lot of interesting characters and was running all weekend.

Playing Orion Thunder after almost six years and getting to interact with Shalok was a DEFINITE highlight. Mahoney has been gone for almost a decade and showed REAL RP SKILLS.  The emotion of showing up and then when he realized I had to go was heartbreaking Great job, as always  and so glad yer back brotha.

Getting to play a crazy wizard for james was AWESOME. I ran people in circles, hid in rafters and in general had a blast. I spit in poor emily's face but as a veteran player I KNEW she would roll with it. Seeing a puddle and telling them to drop me in it then later dealing with a beat up hip and elbow didnt even matter. telling quagz i loved him and kissing his cheek only for him to do it back was PURE quagz! hysterical. Props to all the players involved in that. They even threw my body in the shower and demanded a proper burial. Outstanding.

Reprising the Chastel role after 6 years and fighting all of main mod in Katz's platform boots and waist cincher. Damn ladies...I feel your pain. Thanks to Katz and Alisia for dolling me up for almost 2 hours.  It was fun being a bitch again but ugh I am paying for it still.

Getting some real RP in with alisia about Ethan and Morwenne's future in Travance and having to kill an undead child after main mod. GREAT RP DEAR. I couldnt ask for a better in game wife!

Passing on sorcery info to Joe Bondi who drove all the hell the way out here just to learn! I burned my damn hand on flash paper but getting to pass on ethan's secrets to Lucious was excellent rp. THANKS MAN!

I slept from about 4 pm yesterday to 6 am this morning. The sign of a great weekend. Too bad we have to wait till the new year to get another full event.

Lowlight: Just not getting in more RP with kimmel as Draknar and me as Chastel. Those are really great moments.

Ok for now,
Judge

Man, what an event.  First off, the not so awesome:

-So tired...even now, I am exhausted.  Not sore, amazingly, but just blasted.
-Switching bags from the cold snap saturday night was a huge mistake, I ended up sweating like crazy by the time I woke up.
-Humidity, blech

Now, the fun parts:
-Getting to sleep in a tent for once at this camp was a lot of fun.  A little thing, perhaps, but actually pretty enjoyable all told.
-Doing the voice for the Illithid was a huge blast both times, and is quite possibly one of my favorite moments ever.  I have to apologize to the guy who put on the mask and everything because I forgot his name, but he was great to work with.  Dude, we totally have to work together again sometime.
-Again, to everyone that did NPC duty during my shift, thanks again.  You are all made of win for so many reasons.
-Training with and talking to Tobar.  Telling him about the Gast family healers and their "legacy", only to have it come true later that night after Tobar tried to reassure Galen that he would be fine.
-Getting some great pictures Sunday morning after Ghost Omelets.
-Being told that I helped save Magnus from death by casting Sustain Life on him earlier that night, only to have him killed right next to me mere hours later in part of the Saturday Night Slaughter.
-Galen finally being cured of his last reanimation insanity, coming to peace with some aspects of his life, only to be killed in the Saturday Night Slaughter and dive right back into paranoia and fear.

Only being 24 candy corn off in the guessing game. (thank you useless $75k engineering education)

Sean, let's hang out. Bring the candy corn, or it's no deal.

OH I almost forgot! Main mod on a field full of Mist was SWEET! I wish I could have seen us all walking out of it towards the players!

Yeah the setting was perfect. All of you were back-lit and all we saw were shadows through the fog. Pretty sweet.

My highlights-
Being a floozie named Ruby. She'll be back- and so will the Lucky Bastard!

Getting to meet and hang out with new people and new players

Late night clergy stuff.  So devastating to hear, knowing what I knew, that I ended up crying my eyes out. Good stuff.

Actually getting dressed Sunday and the roleplay that ensued with Magnus's soul. Lots of emotion and acceptance.

It was also kind of fun ending a lot of potential fights on Sunday through talking it out and pacifying people. It's why I love my character : )

Tons of fun as usual, the weather was a nice surprise.  This was the game of akward for Ashling but everything evetualy came out mostly alright and I can rock some akward (is what I do).

Highlights

beholder mod rocked, mckraegar/mcksweeny for the win!  everyone in that was awesome and there was victory pie afterwards.

The Collin mckraegar action figure was a big hit, I'm working on more for next game.

"Fighting my way through two combat mini mods, sneaking silently a few feet behind two drow assassins, and killing three drow slaves just so I could make my way over to ask for a date for the upcoming ball.  This is what we refer to as skewed priorities."

THAT WAS ME!!!!!! <3  and the lighting sword you gave me because you "didn't have flowers" was fantastic...This is going to be so much awesome.

Billum trying to find someone to break through a door all weekend and finaly getting the Count to do it sunday.  So hilarious.

Billuim trying to teach me chaos lore while we were drunk on saydar wine...did not work...And Collin ripping him a new one for being irrisponcible while I tried to hide behind him.
Billuim dragging me off to Father Edwin to fix my insanity when I confided in him about...while still drunk on saydar wine... Say what you will about Billum but my cousin looks out for me.

Celt/ yhatzi pre-battle sing along.

Me being a shoulder for people to cry on, and having to take periotic breaks to go beat on various things (like trees and tents)  It was really cool to walk around camp and see how everyone deals with death differently.

Giving Collin the idea for the Wake and coming up with songs to sing.

OMG I got told plot!

Not much lowlight that I can remeber aside from lack of sleep.  Can;t wait for the dance because Its actualy close to where I live...win.

Go big or go home

Awesome Event, unfortunately my cellphone cannot handle reading the forums on it so I had to wait to get home from work to post about it.

HIGHLIGHTS!!!

Friday:

-Play on with the Yatzi's happening two or so hours before everyone else got the memo.
-Hooka with the Yazti's and other people passing through is always fun
-The Yazti's running off to save the say leaving me in charge of the Hooka... shortly after we were attacked... multiple times.
-Nobles telling us it was time to go and we needed to leave. I somehow become in charge of a group that is not leaving (me because I'm watching the hooka, some other people because they're cooking and then a handful that didn't get the memo and kept gambling....)
-A drow came up behind me and put his blade to my throat... I screamed....Loud... I was told that they could hear me from the Inn and Forge and by the Maze. :-D People came running shortly after that scream.
-Wake the sleeping thing mod. Hamish... you and that horn....

Saturday
-Getting to bed at 5am...
-Helping the Yatzi's prepare feast and became one of their Potato Bitches. It was just a lot of fun helping out where I could and hanging out with you guys. So much fun.
-Helping Rearrange the Inn for Feast.
-Sitting at the wrong place at the wrong time and ending up volunteering to serve feast...
-Sitting for a total of 10 minutes between eating dinner, changing for NPC and getting to NPC shift.
-Pretty much doing my NPC shift in one shade of make up being a Zombie and some sort of greater thingy for Main Mod, nice thunderstorm went through too.
-The Moon was full, the field had this awesome medium thick fog, and the Drow walked out of the mist towards the PC Army... AWESOME SETTING FOR MAIN MOD. you couldn't pay to make it look cooler. James, great job on filling out cool effects paper work with nature!
-Pumpkin Cheese Cake for the Gypsy's and being told "I love this more then babies!" "I love this more then making babies!"
-"I'm going to the ball with Peatro and I'm kinda giddy but the boys won't understand" "Really? I'm going with a Yhazi too, you're right the boys wouldn't" *giggle*

Sunday:

-Being told that the lord that Collin is Squiring with was creeping around our tent to make sure he/we were still alive.
-I hurt from being on my feet so long and realized I forgot to drink yesterday and was sooo dehydrated. YAY Bikomi for walking to the Inn and back just to get me cold fluids. ;-D (Bikomi getting the water is the highlight)
-Cheese Cake part 2 :-D
-Tobar teaching me awesome stuff

Low Lights:
-Dehydrating because I was working in the kitchen and forgot to play the KR drinking game.
-Ball Buster getting killed (sorry I can't remember your real gypsy name...)

Main mod on a field full of Mist was SWEET! I wish I could have seen us all walking out of it towards the players!

Seriously, this looked like something out of a movie, it was really amazing.

Dealing with Judges' crazy wizard, and chasing him all over camp.  I don't think that I've had a better mod or rp experience in all of my years of going, he was amazing, anyone who missed it, has no idea.

So many ups and downs for me this weekend.  Getting my face fixed and being elated in finally realizing I'm free, to the sudden realization that Pesmerga was going to be pissed.

Next losing a child to undeath, and it hitting just a little to close to home for Tari.

Later being killed in the slaughter tent, I was really upset about it from an in game standpoint, but it led to amazing rp.  I don't think I've ever cried as much the entire 8+ years I've been going to kr, then I did in one day for Magnus.

Overall, this event ended up being absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to see what happens at the next full event, even if it is many months away.

Also thanks Judge, I think I interacted with just about every one of your crazy npc's and of course you this weekend, and honestly each one was completely different, and interesting as the next, always providing the opportunity to stretch rp.

The Good
Friday
*Casmina actually, legitimately getting along with people.
*Hurry-up-and-wait working out perfectly (Hey, we need low levels to... wait, you're already assembled? GREAT! This way!)
* "When I was your age, we had to run through a maze in the rain uphill both ways just to poke a sleeping Beholder...!"
Saturday
*The plethora of cute moments that happen when I play Remi, punctuated by bleating and awkwardly adorable nicknames (case in point: Lambchop)
*Finally making it to a Mage's Guild meeting to discover that they're not all THAT bad.
*Feast, feast, OMG feast. So incredible. I wish I could eat like that every day!
*Remi practically squealing with excitement at Dame Hartwood's appointment.
*Fim's song. I don't think I have ever had a more difficult time staying in character, ever in my life. We got out the door and I collapsed into hysterical laughter. Minutes later I was trying to explain what happened to Diane, and could barely speak coherently. Improv Entertainment = WIN.
~~~NPC Shift
*The Exclusive KR Cuddle Puddle.
*Lots of pretty boys to embarrass
*Getting my back cracked
*Rain with perfect timing
*Those lying weathermen~! Well, I guess I forgive them  ;D
*The Snugglecouch, and all those who resided therein. (you know who you are! <3 <3 )
*Mulled Cider and S'mores. SQUEE!
Sunday
*Watching Gideon flip out at some peasants. It was incredible. and terrifying.
*Sorel the Pokemon. Apollo: "Sorel! I choose you!" Sorel: "Sorel sorel!"
*Tea, politics, and escapism (for Remi... who learned some hard life lessons this event... especially to savor the time she has with the people she cares for, because there's no telling when they'll be taken from her for good.)
*Gideon: One of your horns is broken, Remi. You know, I have a grinding stone....
Remi: But then one horn would be shorter than the other and I'd look special *awkward bleat*
*Some seriously beautiful RP about Magnus (and, FYI Matt, only half of the tears were IG... and I'm sure I speak for more than myself when I say that Magnus's death was devastating... for us, as well as our characters)
*and finally... Remi coming to a solid decision about the path she intends to take, much sooner than she had intended (thanks in great part to Magnus.)
The Bad
*Playing Casmina MUCH less than I had intended, and missing out on important/awesome stuff because of it. This whole balancing-alter-egos thing is pretty difficult  :-\
*Attempting to figure out how to teach IG (as this was my first event with Teach...) and only partially succeeding. I hope my students weren't too disappointed- and I promise I'll try my best to get better!
The Ugly
.... I've got nothin'. Seriously- really REALLY great event. Thanks everyone!
I had a great time this event, and finally pc'd a main mod (been npc'ing them up till now and it rocked being in game for one). So, starting with the bad:
Bad:
1) The Rain. Wasn't horrible, but who hates laying in a mud puddle (cept of course, Judge lol)
2) Laaate night npc'ing. I did my best but I know now I can't do the 12-6am shift again. Thanks to Cameron for the 5hr energy drink. Wouldn't have survived without it.
3) Missing all the low level mods..again..because I was smithing so much. Its a trade off. Nice to see that there were low level things going on.
4) Fighting all the way in the deep woods during the beholder part of the main mod, up to the baronial manner when the ward came down, only to find that all but the uber levels had to stay 10 feet away from the matriarch. I npc's were thin but is sucked that 90% of the players just stood around at this point. This was awesome otherwise, see below.
5) Having to still not be at a full event straight through. I've a 3yo son and the weekends are precious. My wife makes it possible for me to make most of these events, but I can't miss an entire weekend with my boy. I miss out some game stuff, but I simply can't miss out on some things with my son. The kid'll be the best armor'ed larper ever though when he comes of age! lol
The Good:
1) Feeling heroic and scared at the same time! Its been a loooong time since I've been one of the new players at a larp game, mostly been one of the epic levels with a feeling of invincibility. I forgot how cool it was to be low level, and have the angst of getting jumped, the fear of dropping or dying in combat. Its more intense when you feel mortality with your pc.
2) Taking on an uber Drow after he shattered my shield when there were three of us at Brazen's hall (and the other two took off for the woods, leaving me alone!). I lit him up a short while later and my pin pricks of hits annoyed him enough to Slay me in one shot. With all my armor, I could soak over 200pnts and he dropped me in one hit. I put this in the 'good' section because it was just a cool moment.
3) Odo, you rock and you know why.
4) Judge, you are sick sick man (no, lol., not the npc, you are!)
5) Finally getting some in game time with Ardentfyre and Dugal (hey..another dwarven smith...finally!).
6) Getting to sit in on the Nobles meeting Sat eve, learn what was going on (had no clue otherwise) and being a part of it.
7) Getting some Cavalier training from Allistair on the way to alerting those at Brazen's hall about the Sat eve missions, then all of us getting jumped by a pack of chaos knights (I think thats what they were, but whatever they were, they were uber), holding my own, and proving my worth as a Cavelier to Allistair by standing with him as the last to hold them off while everyone else made their escape. Having him yell at me "THAT is what it means to be a Cavalier" was a compliment.
8) Main mod - the Beholder rocked and the dilemma in trying to capture it was a good one
9) Having an in game issue with another pc (well roleplayed!) get turned around to a good thing. Getting threatened by one of the toughest guys in the game and holding my ground (I was getting ready to get killed) was kinda cool, and the two other pc's involved were very good about it all. It could have gone very bad, but it ended well imho.
Looking forward to the Ball, and sad to hear that the next full event won't be till 2010.
Cheers!
Highest light:  Yhatzi feast.  Superb again.
Lowlights:  save lack of sleep, and if I slept more I would have missed some highlights.
Friday:  Everything seemed late, but I got in some good RP and some decent fighting.  Resolved a long running conflict with Thomas the Wild Mage and we now have a working respect for one another.  See Saturday night.
Saturday morning:  Cooking breakfast is always enjoyable.
Market Faire was enjoyable, especially as I had someone selling my stuff.  .The food available is wondrous in both quality and variety.
Being able to use my ability to detect forgery for the first time.
Main mod - WOW - the town finally got it together so far as organization was concerned, and as a result we garnered an important victory.
Team Drega'mere rocked.  We were compact and strong.  Rob directed us as a good field grade officer should.  Direction and not micromanagement.  We knew enough to concentrate on one foe at a time, preferably from all sides.
Running to save Seamus with a psalm of Gaia's Embrace while Thomas protected us.  Seamus and I able to work together even though we do not get along.  Again, some good RP with Cooper and Rob.
Combining with Ardin to smoke  a bodyguard Drow and finding a sweet sword.
Judge mincing as a core nvincing woman/Chastel.  Judge was great all around,
Will post more later.
The Bad:
Missing people who suddenly came down with sicknesses.
The Good:
Fri:
Hooka with the Yatzi's
RP with Ming and the Gypsies
Learning that running away is my best skill.
The Dryad calling me a Demon and then attacking me in the inn.
Beating myself up/lamenting to Vincent how I'd killed Felicia a half hour ago, only to have her come up behind me, and give me a hug.  Thank you father Edwin.
Sat:
Market faire wonderful as always.
The Haphazard Scholars meeting/feast.
Running from a beholder, and then chasing it.  NEVER have I been so scared of LED lights!  I felt as though it was a real beholder :D :D :D
Sun:
Waking up early and hearing of the deaths.
NPC Shift:
Farmers with Dysenteri (SP?)
Goblin Pirates (We want your brycks and your keys!)
Angry Townsfolk and an Angrier Gideon
NPC Troll vs. PC Ogre.  Ogre won.
Final PC stuff sunday:
Lessons with Father Osred most enjoyable.
Gideon teaching me to scribe scrolls by rooting me to the ground, and charging me, making me cast at him.  Favorite Highlight
I've had spells for three events, and Gideon made me cast for the first time to further myself.  I guess growth and learning does make you have to step outside your comfort zone.
The sweet taste of victory over the Drow turning to the taste of ashes after learning of certain Church matters.
Glad there is now a good, deep Church sub-plot.
Hand in hand with the above, excellent RP with those clergy present.
Mike Smith (as Osred, after the scene was over):  Why does Osred always wind up standing no matter where he starts a scene?
