At this past DexCon event, there was a vendor who was selling WWI or WWII grenade belts.  Steve Oros bought one and I saw it looks pretty sweet.  I was wondering if anyone recalled who that vendor was and whether he/she has a website.  I took a card from them, but it lost now.  Many thanks.

I had a gunbelt exactly like that which I bought about 15 years ago, but sold when I went on a larp hiatus. If memory serves, its a french commando belt (not a current one, but a WW1 or 2). I loved it because it has a clip in the front I could hand tags from (oh how I hated the tag system) that was so convenient.

I'm sure it can be found again online, its just a matter of finding the right search term. If I come across one I'll post it, but good luck! If you are looking to have a leather belt made otherwise, look me up :)

I believe the man had took measurements and would probably try and craft replicas.

Or Steve can comment on here.

This is the one right? Its actually a nicer looking one than some I've seen, which are often rather worn out.

Seems like those kinds of belts are hard to get.  They've gone up in popularity lately due to LARPers, Star Wars cosplayers, war reenactors, and other folks who need these kinds of belts.  Well, I have the background info on what they are, & now it's a hard target search of all Army/Navy Surpplus stores looking for this belt.  I found many cloth ones, but not the aged leather.

It's not critical I get this, as I have a ton of leather belts... so I can wait a bit.  :)
