I'm looking to pick up a set of micro mesh. I'm not really handy with chain and I don't want a chain shirt that's going to fall apart. Someone told me that micromesh doesn't fall apart and it's super light weight, but I don't want to buy the wrong thing and get stuck with an inferior product. Can I get some recommendations for good micromesh, price isn't really an issue. I want something that will last that I can use for a good long while.

What Frank said. They're made by a machine that wields them rings shut, so they will never fall apart, and they are stainless steel, not aluminum. It's also light as heck.

Micro mesh is the very best chain Maille out there both from a LARP as well as truly functional

The Micromesh chain pants are actually recommended for use as Chain Saw PPE

Price is $250/300 for a whole tunic

Yeah, I think mine weighs about 8 lbs or something ridiculous... I'm a tiny girl, and I can comfortably wear it for an entire weekend.

I was about to put in my 2 cents... but I think the others covered everything I was gonna say, other than the fact that I have worn mine out of the house without even realizing it. it's flippin light and to clean it you just gotta toss it in the dish washer. well maybe not toss, you may break something.
