Hello all,
My name's Steve. I'm not exactly a new player, i came for about 5 or so events sometime back in 04 (in fact, i think the banquet was my last "event") with a couple of friends of mine (Nate and Chris), but was unable to continue coming due to familial issues, and more recently due to college. I had a wild mage PC named Samuel, and you might remember me as the guy who won that demon bane sword (i cannot for the life of me remember the name of that thing) at an event, which i still find funny in an ironic kind of way. Speaking of which, not to go off on a tangent, but is that sword still IG? I gave it to Chris to bring back once i knew i couldn't come anymore, but he's currently in okinawa(?) with the marine corps, and i haven't been able to speak with him... anyway, if thats a FoIG question, let me know
To get back on track, i won't be able to come to events on a regular schedule until i (hopefully!) get into rutgers for my PhD program, but i would like to come to a couple of events to NPC before then whenever i have the chance. I am studying in Germany at the moment, but i'm coming back in August and hoping to be able to come to that event. Either way, i figured i'd reintroduce myself now and get to know all the new player here. So, hi!
Also, i was wondering if anyone could tell me if my character card would still be around if its been almost 5 years since my last event? My account on the website no longer exists (i think), so i was wondering if there was a time period or something for the character cards also? Should i just PM the Character Card Officer?

I've heard it said lots before that characters last forever so I'd think you would be fine.
