My dear KR family,
Suzi/Gwynedd is back in the hospital.
Two years ago she spent Christmas and New Years at HUP. This time she's at Jefferson. It was just after she got out, in Jan '07, that we attended our first Knight Realms event. She was still in a wheelchair, and everyone was very nice and accommodating to her condition.
On Sunday night she collapsed at work. The doctors at Jefferson ran lots of MRIs and CATs, but have decided that her condition is not operable, so she has been sent to Physical Therapy. It looks like she'll be there at least a week, which takes us through Christmas. Bummer.
Our lives are on hold while we wait to see how she does with her therapy. She still has strength in her legs, which is good. The cyst in her spine has screwed up the nerve signals controlling her legs, so now she has to "re-learn" how to walk. I'm spending all my non-working hours with her at the hospital, and I know she'd love to have visitors. If anyone is in the area and would like to stop by, she's at Jefferson University Hospital, Thompson 347-A. The name on her door is "Baldwin, S." which is her maiden name.
Thank you all for all the love and acceptance you've show us the past two years. When we first started KR, she could just barely walk, and since then she's made some very impressive progress. I know it helped make her stronger to have exciting adventures that took her around Travance and the surrounding areas. It seems unlikely that we'll be able to attend the next few events, but we'll be back in town as soon as we can. Gwynedd's Herb Shoppe shall return!
Messages attached to this tread will be delivered to her on Monday.

Yo, Galen - a GOOD Healer could help her.
Hope to see you at Camp Sac in February, or the Winter Festival, if there is one.
One the bright side, how many people get to remember how they learned to walk?
