A Summons to Parlay

To the Protectorate of Mercy and Her Champions,

Its is now just over three years since we came to settle amongst the people of the Barony. Indeed, just over two since Stonefall was legitimized and the practice of the Dark Arts tolerated and eventually raised to “glory” by the Ebond Hound.

Like many of you, I have given much for this place in exchange for Her gift at a third chance at life. I devoted years of service to the Inquisition, protected this place from the fiends most fowl, brought knowledge to a stronghold meant for war, and taught the Raven Queen's teachings.

But alas, here was all sit. This place, time and time again, proves not to be a true home to those like me. The time after Eden's world has shown that to me quite clearly. Though Mercy's Daughter has plead to me to stop, no real recourse is ever brought forth to remedy my ire. My patience wears thin.

So, out of a final sign of respect for the pain endured and lessons learned on that Isle, I shall bring my claims forward to all those who champion the Esper known to us as Mercy. I will parlay with you.

On the eve of the 13th of April at the 23rd chime of the clock, I will return to the Proper. I will be alone, but encourage you to bring some protection should fear govern your thoughts. Be warned, should I find that all you assume is nothing but the worst, like say what occurred when I sacrificed myself to the pyre, I will not be … amused.

To ensure we are not interrupted, I will wait for you all at the clearing atop the hill just passed the Barricades of the Proper (( OOG: Top of Totem Pole Hill )).

I remember the pyre and why all of that happened, but is metaphysically impossible for me to come unarmed; hopefully you will overlook that as I want to bring you something. This meeting is very important. I would go to there alone, as would Olivia and Dirge, I'm sure, because we know that Murdoc will not harm us. So I will not ask for an escort. However, if you wish to be there to make sure we're safe, or if you want to hear what he has to say, then you are welcome.

To those of you who are angry, let me just say this. I have lived in Travance for 3 years now. I have saved most of your lives at least once, and I very rarely ask for anything. But I'm asking this now: if you have any care or respect for me or what I stand for...what my mother, Mercy, stands for, you will allow us to speak with him. I know many of you think that I'm naive, but I need you to trust in me and my fellow Azrans, and let us speak with our brother. If you want to come along, do, but please please PLEASE only if you can do so in good faith.
