Hiring Land Marshals

Hello everyone!

The Land System crew is looking to hire two more marshals to add to our team. Please read the requirements below to see if you're interested in writing for the community.

1) You must have attended at least 12 events.
2) You must have regular and predictable access to the Internet from a computer.
3) You must be willing to use Facebook for coordination
4) You should not already be a Marshal of another variety. Some exceptions may be made, but if you are already a marshal or ST please include that information in your initial email to me. Preference will be given to those who are not already other kinds of marshals. Permission must be obtained from your current Staff Officer to double up on marshal roles.
5) There will be a test to help with selection.

To acquire the benefits of being a land marshal for a month, all you need to do is respond to roughly 20 written actions per land turn. We understand that people can have busy lives, so if you need to take a break for a month for any reason, just let me know. If two months pass without proper correspondence, Joe or myself will be in contact with you.

For the purposes of fulfilling the event requirements, do special weekend events count? For example, how would Alt Event and WitL count. Same goes for those who have spent an event as a full time NPC.

Also, when is the deadline for applications? Thanks in advance!

An event is an event. Count them all.

Deadline is June 10th. I want to bring the new people on board before the June 24th event and we need time to get the test out and responses back.

All in due time. For now, enjoy the heck out of being just a player. Learn as many things about the game and how to make it fun for yourself and for others as a player. Then when it comes time to volunteer to be a marshal your job will be all the more enjoyable with the perspective you gain today.
