Leather Apprenticeship

Ok, although life continues to be crazy, I am finally starting the process of finding apprentices. I will need 2 initially and as the work grows, possibly one more.

Apprentices will learn the basics of leatherwork and artistry. They will need to commit to at least 2-4 eight hour days a month for the first six months. You don't need to have experience in leatherworking but it doesn't hurt. You will also need to be able to travel to and from the Bethlehem, PA area with ease. I'm looking to begin hardcore production after the holidays but if accepted, be prepared for basic training before hand.

Same. Why must you live 2 hours from me? I actually genuinely want to learn the art of leatherwork, but you need to live closer to me  I guess I'll just have to add it to my list of things I'm self teaching.

Well, it does take dedication.
I used to travel 2 1/2 hours from home, in the snow, uphill with no shoes!
Now all you kids need is your fancy automo-tonies, and your facespace with mybooks!

Puh-lease... none of you ever had to get your own leather the way I had to.  I had to get mine from the source... steal/take the leather jackets off of dead gang members in the Village like this.

We all know leather comes from teenage kids in gangs, right?
