I've recently saved up funds to finally get a decent bow. However, through sheer incompetence on my part, I can no longer afford to get arrows at the prices I've found. If someone has any arrows that they can spare, or perhaps sell, I would be very grateful. 3-5 dollars per arrow is my range right now (HA, range. I crack myself up). If someone is interested, please let me know and I'll try to meet you at the next possible event.

Thanks.

[strike]The following link may help you out until you can buy the real thing! A marshal would know better than I if this is viable (or if the video at the end is) but hey, it's worth a shot!

Nevermind - can't home make. Makes sense from a safety standpoint.

You cannot make your own LARP arrows. For safety reasons, they must be arrows purchased from any of the major distributors. Medieval Collectibles, Dark Knight Armory, Calimacil, and LARP Exchange (run by one of our own LARPers) are all viable places

There is a new manufacturer that i have found that makes them in multiple colors and are cheaper than the IDE arrows. I'll be bringing a few when they arrive so the rules and safety teams can break them apart and see if they pass. If they do, there will be an update on that.

Right. Well thanks for the info. I guess I'll just figure this out then.

Out of curiosity, has anyone tried the new modular larp arrowheads?

Which ones Paul? Can you post a link? Perhaps we can get a couple and pick them apart top determine if we can use them.
