Hoping to come LARP soon! A Few simple questions

Hi! I'm hoping to come in the next few months! I'm just getting the essentials all figured out. (being the poor college student that I am).

I'm an actor and a roleplayer so I figured why not try LARPing.

I do have a question though!

Where would be a good place to buy bows and arrows for the event? Ones that meet the safety regulations. I haven't decided whether or not i'm making the arrows but I definitely want to buy the bow and I want to find one that won't ruin the game experience and meets the draw weight.

Any help would be awesome!

Hi Christine,
If you look to the left hand side of the website, the left hand menu column shows a section called Web Links .  On there are some sites that offer archery supplies and bows.  We also have someone at the game who offers to sell arrows.

If you wanted to save time on making arrows, I do sell them for a reasonable price.  I will be setup before new player training on friday night and during market faire.

Sites like Attilas or Rudders offers various types of bows.  Or you can go to Walmart/Dicks Sporting Goods & look for youth bows.

WOW! I forgot my manners.
Anyway, Hi my name is Conor(OOG) and I play a sylvan elf ranger named Caelvan. I got my bow and it's pretty cool Latex covering over a fiberglass bow. It works really well. But the hard part is when people get in close. You have to draw a sword really quickly. Look me up in-game next weekend.

I will have a bow for demo this month and I have about 6 arrows left for sale.  I will not have more than that till October.  So they will be 1st come 1st serve.
