Jim Butcher Article

Hello all,

I have an article about writer/LARPer Jim Butcher up on Book Beast today ( bit.ly/4s4cd ), and I thought folks might be interested in it.

Butcher is the author of the Harry Dresden books as well as the Codex Alera, and I got him to talk about how LARP informs his writing.

Libraries are free and will take special requests to get new books.

Plus his books, while fun, are too fast of a read for me to justify the cost of a hardcover.

Libraries ftw!

Second hand book stores, where hardcovers are often half the price of a ne paperback.

Back on topic... So apparently the author gets his reference material for action scenes in a best-selling novel series... from playing in a boffer LARP.

Now THAT is cool.
