Donations & Contact for June

Hey Everyone!

So I am coming from Canada. Every time we come down we ensure it a tradition to bring a ton of donations. Not because we're over friendly Canadians but because we all run larps up here and totally understand the need for additional support.

That being said I don't see a list for June event just the WITL. Is there additional items needed? Is there an ongoing always list needed? Who are the story tellers for this gather?

Always a go-to list, from the Rulebook:

Needed Donations
Knight Realms asks that plays help the game run by donating materials, services, or other help to make the game run smoother and to make it more enjoyable for everyone. There are certain things that are in more need than others, and the Staff would be especially grateful if some were donated.

The following list of items is what Knight Realms needs on a consistent basis. Service Points will be awarded for each item – the amount varies on the quality of donation and need of item(s).

Quick and easy items that we always could use

• Spell Packets (500 SP for 100 Tied Packets, 1,000 SP for 100 sewn packets)
• Headbands (White and Blue, Yellow and Red)
• Tiki-Torch Fuel
• Powdered Drink Mixes
• Boffer claws (Small Weapon and 1-Handed sizes, in pairs)
• Inexpensive, generic latex weapons for NPC use
• Glow Sticks (Bulk quantities of the larger kinds, for lighting up areas at night)

Everything on the WitL list was accounted for, if I'm not mistaken.

There was also recently a Medical Supplies drive, so I would check with Norm B (Silverbow Patriarch) via PM about that. www.knightrealms.com/forum/Announcements...-service-points.html

Otherwise, I'm sure an ST will chime in momentarily with the needed props and such for this particular event. They usually announce that pretty much week of.

Aigh. Since we are leaving a little earlier than normal sooner notification is always better. We plan to be states side Thursday and take out time coming down as it takes us about 10 + hours.

Logistics could also really use ribbon (about an inch wide, give or take) in red, yellow, green, blue, black, and especially white.

Safety pins, long shoelaces (like for knee-high boots), index cards, and makeup brushes (specifically brushes, though sponges are also always appreciated) wouldn't go amiss, either.

How much ribbon per colour... I have my sources. How big of index cards, what size safety pins? Does leather lace for shoes work?

As much ribbon as you want to bring. They are used for Headbands, and they usually get lost, or taken during shift, or given to newer players who don't have their own.
