Drega'Mire Dessert Contest - August 1214 was created by Nicoletta (fyperia)

Drega'Mire will be hosting another dessert contest [strike]on Friday afternoon of the extended feast.[/strike] during Market Faire at the August Feast.

There will be an entry fee of five gold. This is to cover the extensive amount of prizes we will be offering to those who win. Please note here or send me a missive in Oringard if you wish to enter.

Those who enter must present five portions to be tasted. You will be judged on taste, presentation and creativity. Entrants may do what they wish with the remainder of their dessert, should there be any left over.

The prizes will include runes, trinkets, powerful scrolls, rituals, and more, for the best three participants. If there are fewer than five entries, there will be a prize for all. A list of prizes and judges will be provided shortly.

Due to the underwhelming number of participants, the contest will be postponed until a later date, most likely Saturday of the July feast.

Unfortunately, I will likely not be present at this time in July. The contest will be held during Market Faire of the August Feast.

As a reminder, this contest will be taking place the day of this coming Feast, beginning at half past the eleventh hour of the morning. Judges will be as follows:

Lord Aleister Tartaros
Lady Angelica Tartaros
Ser Philadin Ienbura
Viceroy Belegchand Dinephilin

Prizes will be as follows:

The dish strongest in each category (taste, presentation, creativity) will receive a single socket item with their choice of a Divine, Arcane or Artificer's Rune, as well as a Device of their choosing and 10 Gold's worth of Illuminations.

The best overall dish will receive a two socket item with their choice of two Runes created by a Sorceror, Ceremonialist or Artificer, as well as an Invention of their choosing and their choice of any Fifth Rank or Combined Illumination.

Additional prizes may or may not be offered at the discretion of the judges.
