Awards for March, 2005

Robert Strube

PC of the month goes to Robert Strube for Thomas the Wild Mage, for certain reasons mentioned above, as well as his various interactions with the Mage's Guild. His inner tension over his feelings towards the mages is awesome to see in action (even if it was part of what ultimately killed two of us this weekend, the bastard!)

Corey Acera

NPC of the month goes to Corey Acera! Anyone who saw him as the chaos demon would remember how phenomenal he was. He used multiple accents, swung every kind of damage you could think of, he really immersed himself in the chaotic nature of the character, physically and mentally. He even assumed multiple mind sets at the same time, from the demon, to a cavalier, to a healer, and stayed those mind sets until certain things set him off. In the short time he was there he showed a level of excellence that would be nice to see on a more consistent basis. It would be great to see him at KR more often to show others how "it" is done.

Corey Acera

NPC of the month goes to Corey Acera! Anyone who saw him as the chaos demon would remember how phenomenal he was. He used multiple accents, swung every kind of damage you could think of, he really immersed himself in the chaotic nature of the character, physically and mentally. He even assumed multiple mind sets at the same time, from the demon, to a cavalier, to a healer, and stayed those mind sets until certain things set him off. In the short time he was there he showed a level of excellence that would be nice to see on a more consistent basis. It would be great to see him at KR more often to show others how "it" is done.
Jess Courter

Player of the month goes to Jess Courter for helping out in many ways, especially during cleanup. She also takes precautionary measures to make sure her cabin stays clean by bringing carpets and hanging a laminated 'Wipe Your Feet' sign. No one asked her to do it, she does it to help the game and it is greatly appreciated.

Cabin of the month goes to Eric Daniel Malavé's, otherwise known as Otigiri, bed! The tower cabin had a lot of people sleeping in it this event, just like every other room at this campsite. It is hard at this place to make a space your own, but he managed to do it. He brought more decorations to put around his bed than everyone else at the campsite combined. Great job!

Mummies are the preserved remains of Kings from long ago. Wrapped in bandages and embalmed in strange fluids, their people attempted to prepare the body of their Lord for the afterlife. Now reanimated by evil magics or sheer force of will of the deceased King, the body walks again, seeking the living for its own foul purposes. Mummies are a powerful form of undead and should one be spotted it would be wise to summon the aid of a Witch Hunter. They tend to have powers of rot and decay and although they are slow moving, they are extremely resilient.
