Once more a pig will be roasted.  I will need some folk to bring cement blocks for the pit, a total of 28 in all.  Any who can bring some to the September event by 10pm Friday please let me know.

I also would like to know if any desire to help roast said pig.  It would entail a two hour shift, anytime from 2AM Saturday to 2PM Saturday.  Service points will be given for your assistance.

Its a wonderful chance to learn a life skill. :)

I'm providing the carvers, so if Mitts comes to the event, he will not have to work.

Let me know how many you can bring, Chris.  If you can handle all 10, that will take care of 1/3 of our requirement.  Let me know via PM.  I can reimburse you for the blocks or give you SPs at the going rate.

It would be nice if I can get folks to commit to bringing a total of 15 more cement blocks, the type that are 16" long by 8" high.  Quantities as small as one will help.

Here's a story from today's NY Times about "exploring and cherishing an entire wild boar" as a dining experience:

Perhaps next year we'll start with a live boar...........

So far we have 20 of the 28 needed cement blocks being brought up.  Still not too late to volunteer to bring some.
