Knight Realms players are always welcome at the event, and get $5 off on Pre-Registration by using the code "Divine Flame" when signing up. Note that this code is only valid for a Full Membership ahead of time. Simply take $5 off when you send in your payment!
Both Diane (Kleidin) and myself are Senior Staff for DREAMATION, and can always use help with running the convention! If you'd like to volunteer, we'd need a commitment of 16 hours over the course of the convention (Thursday - Sunday) to cover your membership. Volunteering also means you have access to the Staff Suite, so you'll be fed for the weekend as well. Please drop me a PM if you're interested in volunteering, and we'll help you out!
If you're planning on attending or running something, post here, so we know to look for you!

Supposing I can get a ride there, I'd like to volunteer the sixteen hours on the basis that I'm so broke. Also, is KR rocking the suite at this con and if so, can I sell myself to James for the low low price of some floor space on which to curl up and sleep?

My only concern is that some folks are very selective in their extracurricular activities and don't wish to have them broadcasted all over the world (or the interwebs) for the sake of privacy. :) Mike's interview was an informative perspective. I think he sounded fine.

I think my favorite part of the article is the insanely detailed account of the historical scenario of that Danish guy's game. It's just so weirdly at odds with the rest of the article which is obviously attempting to present things in very basic, layman's terms. I get the sense the reporter looked at that part of her notes and just thought, hmm, no real way to dumb that down, and just spilled it onto the page verbatim...

The whole article is filled with simply missed details - the author didn't even bother to use basic logic when writing it. (My personal favorite - a game that involves deep space combat, and terrain? WTF?)
As humorous as it is, it's a sad thing that this is the kind of crap that gives gaming its social stigma.
