Seminar on "How to run a weekend plot" was created by Inajira (Inajira)
Have you ever wanted to write and run a weekend plot, but didn’t know where to start? If you have, now is your chance to learn how! At the coming event, a seminar will be held by the storytellers to demonstrate the basics of how to write and run a full weekend plot.
The seminar is going to be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, 07/03/2009. Seating will be limited, so please send a PM to me if you wish to attend the session. This seminar is open for anyone to attend, however spaces will be provided on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. If there is enough interest, multiple sessions may be scheduled.
As a bonus, at the end of the session the storytellers giving the session will review any weekend plot ideas the people attending the seminar may have and provide live feedback for their ideas.
Topics covered include:
Proper subject material for a weekend plot
How to write a weekend plot
The submission and review process for a weekend plot
How to deal with problems that arise during the weekend while running your plot
And much, much more!
What you need to bring:
Ideas for a weekend plot you might like to run in the future.
So if you have an interest in running a weekend plot, or have already submitted a plot and are looking for ways to refine it, send me a PM to reserve your space today!

Will this be a one-time ever thing? I can't make another event before September, but would be interested otherwise.

Depending on interest, it might be run again. As of now, it's half full already, so there's a good chance it'll be run again.

Wow! There's been a huge response to this seminar!
I've expanded it to hold 15 people total, 11 have already signed up. If you want in, there's 4 more slots and they're going fast!
If you send me a PM, and I tell you we're all full up, don't worry, I'll be doing this again in another couple months.
Thanks for the response!

I think this is an awesome idea... I am only discouraged that I will not be able to take part in it as I will be BBQing for those students who pass my state exam in physics. I do plan on attending the event though! I will just be showing up late.

And now to drag this thread back onto topic :)
There's only 3 seats left for the seminar. If you're interested, please send a PM soon, as the seats are running out fast!
As an aside, if anyone has a Proxima or other kind of projector that hooks up to laptops that I could borrow, please send me a PM!
Thanks very much!
