It will be extremely cold in Sparta for this coming weekend.

also, 40% chance of snow on Sunday.

Plan accordingly.

Snow needs to be restricted to late Sunday night/early Monday morning so there's a snow day -- or at least a 2-hour delay!  That or a blizzard all weekend so there's no question that school will be closed on Monday.

Al Roker on the Today Show just predicted 18 inches of snow, with Sparta NJ just about in the middle of the bullseye.  Other reports predict as little as 6 inches, with the bulk of the snow falling in mid-NJ and Phila.  It seems clear that it'll be a white weekend.
