Heh. If it was up to me, i'd just have them mail me my degree. Sadly, my parents, who have paid my room and board for the past 4 years, for some reason want to see me walk down an aisle while wearing a gown and funny hat... what wierdos.

Steve, graduation is something you will find means more than you realize.  I thought the same thing and considered not going to my commencement this past October.  I am very glad that my husband wanted me to go.

Whereas I feel I missed nothing by not going to my university graduation.  As I was fortunate enough to be able to put myself through, there was no parental guilt attached.  OTOH, it was a fairly large class (UDEL) so they probably were glad.
