Will this prevent you from invoking latent sorcery rituals cast on you. Moon Gate, for example?

No. The spell has been worded specifically to state what it will stop - Sorcery (and Valence) is not one of them. (I asked the same question when developing this, which is why it's a concrete list of effects, and not a "such as" list.)

To verify, Suppress Magic won't remove a latent protection that has been cast on me, just prevent me from using it for 5 minutes, correct?

Correct. Suppress Magic stops you from using it - Dispel Magic (which is a different 4th Rank Wizardry spell) will remove it.
