Ok, so, I've been searching the site, and could not find the answer to this question... When does the festival start time-wise? Living in Central Jersey, I'll need to plan for around 3-4 hours beforehand since I can't go up the night before.

Living in central Jersey, you should plan on 1 1/2 hours max. I make it to Sparta in that time, or maybe 2 hours. From the Delaware Memorial Bridge at the other end takes 1 1/2 hours tops as well. From 287/78 intersection is around 45 minutes to an hour.

Good to know! Thanks. I haven't checked the map myself yet, but my friend said it was near the Phillie area, and I have never had luck traveling there.

A few logistical details
If you are not a kitchen marshal or a designated helper, stay out of the kitchen.
If you are bringing something that must stay cool or cold, bring a cooler or ice chest.
There will be two Porto Johns with a hand sanitizer and water station set up outside them. Unless you are my sister Teri, who inherited indoor bathroom rights at parties when my mother died, do not bother to ask. Our septic system is not forgiving at 32 years.
Water will be constantly available, along with watermelon. I urge you to avail yourselves of both.
Not certain how it will work out, but the "bar" will either be open or honor.
If anyone has some suitable tables they can absolutely commit to bringing, please let me know by PM
The field has been mowed twice and will get at least one more treatment. This means if you bring an old blanket you will have a very IG place upon which to sit.
Any tree that offers suitable shade may be utilized for that purpose. I warn you that those on the tree line and not in the field or front "yard" may prove to have poison ivy on the ground or growing on them.
Up until the time James announces as the official start time, people may drive their vehicles to the top and unload. We have a circular (actually teardrop shaped) section at the top, so maneuvering will not be a challenge. There are at least two pull overs on the driveway if vehicles are traveling in the opposite direction.
There is ample parking in the lower field. We will have some [strike]poor schmuicks standing in the sun
[/strike] people directing parking to maximize things and to assure that every vehicle will be able to leave at any time.
If it is a hot day, we may have a gnomish device that will sprinkle water.
Although I mentioned it before, Demon Dog with Deer Leg should not be deliberately fed. He will do quite well with your accidental droppings. The pathetic look he will give you is genetic. He is quite friendly and may be safely approached by anyone.

Which reminds me. I will have my Keshond Caleb and my Collie (blue merle) Melody. Please please please do not feed these dogs people food. They do not tolerate it well at all.
Melody is a BIG puppy at 9 months come this festival. She does jump though we are trying to curb it. Caleb is afraid of people and we are trying to gently bring him out of that shell of his. Both are friendly in their own way.
They will have their kennels with them for time out. Respect the kennels as its their safe havens. Unlike Tempus and Jazzy, my two Shelties who have RPed IN KR and a Fae LARP prior...this will be their first experience with it.
I'm really looking forward to introducing them to you all.
