Bump.
I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering if this list can be updated at all at this point, with which pledges are still available, and if there are any new ones.

I have removed the projects that have more or less been completed.
That said, I have realized over this process, that my attempt to nail things down to specific projects haven't been 100% successful. All the pledge money collected so far has gone to great improvements, but with the pledgee's blessings, they have on occasion been used on simply whatever projects needed the funding at that time.
At the end of the day if you wish to pledge, and are adamant that your pledge be used for your specifically stated purpose, that is understandable and will be done. However if you wish to pledge a monetary amount, and allow us to use the money as we need, that is also greatly appreciated, and you will receive the same amount of compensation, as well as a re-assurance that your money is going towards noticeable improvements on the camp.
In the near future I will probably have to soon remove the specific project descriptions. I am running into problems, such as if I receive a donation for the floor, it will need to sit and collect dust for a long time because I cannot begin that project without a minimum of 4k. I also cannot start the fence project until the ground thaws, and I get a solid design plan, and the correct permit from the town. So donations for those things, create a situation where money is sitting around when it could be used for great improvements that could get done now. For these types of reasons, the non-specific donations are appreciated and accepted.
Also let me take a moment to say THANK YOU, to the people who have donated so far! Without your help we would not have been able to make the tremendous improvements that we have made so far, and it really does show, and everyone appreciates it every time the camp is used. You guys really are helping to make the dream into a reality!

James:
I think we need to tear out and replace the kitchen entrance. The stairs are crumbling, and the roof drips right outside the door. I don't know what it would cost, but it would entail the tearing out of the present landing and stairs, rebuilding using either brick or wood, a bit larger, with perhaps a ramp and awning? This would also give the building a second wheelchair access, and an easier was to get things in and out of that side of the building.

Having a ramp directly connected to the kitchen would make loading/unloading supplies and cleaning very easy.

Don't forget, there is a separate website for the Camp (as opposed to the game):
www.camp-sacajawea.com/
KR players, as well as players from DR, LAIRE, and RoA (and other folks who use the camp!) can and do contribute there for ways to improve the camp.

Allot of people lately have been asking about the pledges and if I am still accepting them.
With summer now here I am absolutely still accepting pledges and in fact need them to develop the campground further. The first year of owning the campground is financially the hardest and so in fact every improvement you have seen thus far has been the result of pledges and volunteer work.
I have abandoned the idea of specific job pledges because I have found it is hard to commit to specific projects when there is just so much that can be done. If you are adamant that your pledge go to a specific project you can still talk to me and do so, but in general I appreciate donations being allotted for whatever is needed at the time. The pledge amounts are still 250 for silver, 500 for gold and 1000 for mythril and the award amounts are the same as listed in the first post.
I am still planning to do the donor plaque. I do not know when, it may even be six months from now, but it will absolutely, positively be done at some point.
I still need volunteer work very badly as well. I have stopped asking for help on the boards lately, but I still need volunteers on a regular basis and will consider lifting the ban on staying overnight since its summer and oil and propane resources wont be heavily taxed in doing so. I will try to post more often the call for help, but please know that I always need the help and so if you want to, on your own contact me and let me know if there is a day or days that you want to come up to help.
In the last six months we have accomplished ALOT! This is thanks to all of you who contributed monetary pledges and who volunteered their time to come to the camp help. Thank you all, and you should be proud of whats been done and what will continue to be done in the future.
