Today I mowed a bunch of stuff, but nothing really high, except for some multi-flora rose. While watching the Phils play, I felt something and too off two, one from each forearm. Am now checking everything.

During the April game I pulled a nasty little bugger off of my wrist. I got him early, but he left a hell of a bite that I ended up getting checked out. The Doc put me on an antibiotic for a few days just in case. NJ ranked 4th in reported Lyme cases nationwide in 2009 so if your bitten get yourself check out. I know people who have suffered the course of Lyme's and it isn't pleasant.

Hats; long sleeves; tuck your pants into your boots. The alternative is very little clothing so you can feel them crawling on your skin.

Just after the alt event I personally asked James to announce everyone to inspect themselves for ticks and then I made the announcement to as many people as I could find at the inn.
everyone needs to be aware of this especially in the newly blazed areas where animals are used to foraging...
