The day camp is now in session and will be for around 8 - 10 weeks. What this means is that they are there from 9 - 5 every weekday, including Friday. What this further means is that none of us can arrive at the camp on Friday prior to 5pm for the next few events, until I let you know otherwise.
I know this seems a bummer of a inconvenience, but its unavoidable. All the other weekend renters of the camp have to suffer through the same issue. As well as this, the small room downstairs in the inn used as the cooks cabin for KR is off limits and will be locked during this time. It is literally filled with their most important stuff. The new room in the Health Center (Guard Barracks) is filled with children's toys and a sand box. If we just keep the door closed it should not be an issue, after all there is plenty of tent space in the summer.
This means that I will need super high quality volunteer efforts waiting at 5PM to spring into action and set up the camp in super efficient speed with no messing around. We have in fact done this in the past already, but now we will need to do this from two to three times a year.
It is acceptable to wait in the parking lot for 5pm to come. Either the Ranger or myself will open the gates and let you know when its OK to come into the camp.
