Knight Realms Gaming Club

I would love to sign up for X-Wing coming this January. Not sure if I have to sign my name in blood somewhere in order to do so.

As a member of the Slugfest Games demo team (aka Slugcrew), I'll be bringing a bunch of board/card games that I'll be only too happy to show people and teach how to play. I own Slugfest's entire line of games, which are:

Fishing For Terrorists: Play this game or the terrorists win! The classic game of Go Fish, using new mechanics and hilarious parody terrorist groups.

Kung Fu Fighting: Martial arts combat, Hong Kong cinema style!

En Garde: Civilized combat, from a more sophisticated age.

Tiki Mountain: The Angry Volcano God is angry! Be the first to appease (re: sacrifice yourself to) the Angry Volcano God so no one else has to.

Red Dragon Inn: The adventure's over, but the party's just beginning! Play any one of 20 available characters as you drink, roughhouse, and gamble the night away.

High Noon Saloon: An old west barroom shootout!

I'll be there probably around 7PM, and ready and willing to get started right away.

The first Game Knight of 2014 went in solid! Some great demos with the Slugfest games turned into serious matches when it went down to the wire. Red Dragon Inn was shot for shot until two were left with just enough fortitude to pound down another beer.

Munchkin showed us who the real powergamers were and who to watch out for when you get back into Travance! Even worse, in Munchkin Apocolypse it became a race to end the world. The 7 seals were opened in record time with a level 60 combat ending the game.

Finally, after the Eldar had dispatched of the Ultramarine contingent left on a deserted world, they learned all too soon how the rest of the space marines had lost their lives. Warrior after warrior rose from the sand. Destroyers and Crypteks warped in from a strange runed pillar. The Eldar had found themselves on a Necron homeworld. 4,000 Points of Eldar forces scattered to contain the uprising. More and more warped in. Looming overhead was a sight of true terror to their soldiers. The Monolith descended and unleashed hundreds of Necron Warriors, blasting away at the Eldar. Once again, a match of close calls; In the eleventh hour, victory was in sight for the Eldar. Shots were fired, but in the end, the Necron army was just too great and the planet was reclaimed by the metal-bodied undead.

More Slugfest!

I'll be back at the next Game Knight with all of my Slugfest Games. We had a great time playing last time and we only played two of the games I brought! Here's hoping for more this time around.
