I grabbed some ribbon and cut it already. If it is cut into 3' strips, it works nicely as a headband. Each roll will get roughly 6-8 headbands. I have 12 White, 6 Red, and 6 Yellow already cut and ready for logistics. I also have three more pairs of long claws coming too.

Re: Spell packets. I tried to make some sewn ones but failed miserably simply because the seed kept making it hard to close up the packet. Anyone have tips on how to do it cleanly? Thanks!

You sew 3 of the four sides of the packet, then fill it with seed, then hand sew it to close it.

You can also machine sew 1/2 of the 4th side, use a small funnel to put in the filling, then hand sew the last little bit - makes the hand sewing a bit less.

I find it a lot quicker and obtain a better (in terms of firmness) packet when using robber bands. Although not as fast to deteriorate as string, they do reduce over time.
