Well the weather for October in the Mid-Atlantic is as always a fickle beast. It is only just the beginning of Fall but already we are looking at a wet and cold weekend.

If you're new to KR - BRING SPARE, DRY CLOTHES, IN A PLASTIC BAG. Bring extra socks. Bring layers of clothing. Be prepared to change into / out of them on Sat. night, after Main Mod, when you will inevitably get damp from either weather or sweat, before you go to sleep. Furthermore, you are at a greater risk of dehydration in the cold and wet as you do not realize just how much you have sweated out and aren't nearly as hot from the exertion.

If you're traveling with friends, spread the word, and keep an eye on each other for hypothermia!

Sunny, with a high near 80. Southwest wind 3 to 7 mph.
Friday Night A slight chance of showers after 2am. Partly cloudy, with a low around 56. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
Saturday A chance of showers, mainly after 8am. Partly sunny, with a high near 71. Calm wind becoming west 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 40%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Saturday Night A chance of rain, mainly after 2am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Sunday A chance of rain. Cloudy, with a high near 53. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

I see very good cautionary remarks but none for what to do after the person has become Hypothermic

If truely hypothmric beyond the shivering stage do NOT PLACE THEM IN AHOT SHOWER
. Get them into dry clothes wrapped in warm blankets and drink warm soups if coherent or after they recover some what Be very careful when placing people near a fire as they can not feel them selves getting burned
Instead use warming water bottles under the arms and the groin area
Please warm them slowly

We hold in our hands the harvest of what we have sown in Hope. Do we sow for Good? or for Evil?
