Crimes in the Land System

Staring this month (as in, right now) there is a new action available in the Land System.

Petty Crime

Petty crimes such as pick pocketing on the streets or short cons like loaded dice or follow the lady. This is an illegal activity and you run the risk of being discovered and punished for your crimes.

I repeat, this is blatantly illegal.

This means that the Laws of Travance apply.

This is actually true for all Land Actions but so far we haven't had any actions that were strictly illegal. Cause Mayhem could be carried out in a completely legal fashion (or in a completely illegal fashion) This action... if you take it... runs the risk of you getting caught, fined, losing hands or possibly executed.

Or it could earn you a small amount of gold. This gold (unlike the gold earned by businesses) will be deposited into your characters bank account because even crooks use the Bank of Travance.

As always if you have any questions about the Land System please email

Last thing -- if the idea of being executed at game for crimes you commit between games would upset you or annoy you then do not use this action. You have been warned.

One more thing. Land System Actions are open for the month of November. They will close on Sunday November 16th this month because with Thanksgiving in there I want to make sure we have extra time to get all of the responses done in case people are travelling.
