normal Land System -- Stonefall Announcement

Land System -- Stonefall Announcement was created by Gunnar Gunnarson (jhines0042)
Starting next land system turn, Stonefall will be open for actions! The infamous asylum has been rebuilt as a walled, almost fortress-like enclosed city. The road there is heavily wooded, overgrown, and rough; it is only two hours from the Proper but this path discourages many people from wandering down it. A massive wall with but one set of gates in or out appears almost out of nowhere as the woods suddenly open up. No one seems barred from entering or leaving, though to judge by the state of the road there doesn’t seem to be much traffic in either direction. The town itself rises as a single massive structure from inside these walls.

From inside Stonefall you can see that it’s been built circling a strange floating crystal, which dominates the center courtyard. Those with the knowledge of such things can tell that the crystal is psionic in nature, though its precise purpose remains obfuscated to you. There are other open-air areas scattered about, but in the end all are enclosed by Stonefall’s walls. The layout can best be described as “chaotic”, with market stalls, living spaces, and other areas flowing into and out of each other. A significant portion of the town seems to be empty; whatever isn’t empty is very well-decorated for some unfathomable reason.

Anyone who spends a lot of time in Stonefall can notice that the residents tend towards the darker side of life - it’s not uncommon to hear cries of “Praise Malyc!” and the like, and there are definitely some barbarians with raven warpaint on their faces living here - but there doesn’t seem to be much, if any, crime. You might attribute this to some kind of complicated truce, or you might hear fearful whispers of something called a “Blackguard”. Whatever is keeping the peace seems to be working, though, and you can spend your time in creative self-expression with such activities as poetry nights and finger painting sessions, partaking in culinary delights like “lightning-seared rat on a stick”, or just getting the best night’s sleep of your life under the ever-present, soothing aura of the crystal.

Does Stonefall fall under any of the Lands, or just under the Barony?

It counts as part of the Baronial Estates.
