To the KR family, and those that will be joining us in the future:

I'm using this video to help drive home a point. We use too many disposables at the camp and it would help out not just KR, but the environment too, if you could consider doing just a small part.
(I don't mean for the sit-down feast on Saturdays)
If each event, players try to bring their own reusable bowl, mug, utensils, etc., think about how much less garbage that would be. It would be less for the cans, the dumpster and the bears!

Just think about what you personally could do to help.
I have links to several options if anyone is interested.
Feel free to post helpful comments or ideas below.

Camping equipment! I can not stress this enough. Collapsed water containers are wonderful as are stackable sizes of plastic containers and metal porcelain coated dinnerware. You can get these in any good camping goods section of Walmart to Cabela's.

Also yardsakes are in season. It's amazing g what you can find and reuse.

If I want a mug that fits the setting and can hold hot beverages, where can I get one?

I have struck a deal with my potter friend. Expect mugs and candlestick holders sometime in the near future. I sent him the baronial sigils and whatnot, so you should get them in nice colors as well. I'll be selling them at market faire! He said homemade mugs are usually around $20.
