Here is a list of unique monster mechanics you might hear called this weekend.

Infest
Infest counts as a Killing Blow. The character gains the following template.

+1 Damage
Spider Bite x1
Character retains her full card and rises at her max Body Point total. Death Count is not paused during this time. Healing applied will not affect the Infested Body Points but will halt its Death Count. If Death Count expires, character is still animated until defeated.
*Character is mindless and considered to be Dominated to the being that Infested her. The character may not be Immune to or have the Dominate cured early.
*This effect may be cured as a Disease, which effectively reduces the Infested to 0 BP.

Evanesce - When using Fade to escape combat, character becomes undetectable for thirty seconds. She must flee at least ten paces.

It will only be delivered to targets susceptible to a Killing Blow, so it cannot be defended because you cannot call defenses in that state.
