Coast Haven Mercantile Treaty, 1219

The Noble Merchant Houses of the City-States of Coast Haven have come to find the negligence of the Kingdom of Kormyre regarding the assassination of a diplomat, while harbored in their territory, to be extremely disturbing. It brings into question the trustworthiness of such a nation in these certain circumstances. Actions, however, will always speak louder than words. Nevertheless, a proposal has been agreed upon by the Houses.

For a time of four months, the Kingdom of Coast Haven, under Her Highness, Queen Luiza de la Borrasca, will not seek to engage any demon forces or claim anymore territory within the Demon Barrows. After this time has passed, any land not claimed under the flag of Kormyre will be regarded as officially abandoned, and to be recognized as such by the Kingdom of Kormyre. Lands under the control of the demonic forces will be free to be earned through bloodshed by those who spill it from their vile abyssal bodies.

In this time, the Noble Merchant Houses will enter deep talks with the Trade Princes and Sultanate within Amon’Zod and develop stronger trade routes as well as explore new ventures with which trade may be established.
