Awesome event! Thanks to Adam, Andy, and Doug for an awesome weekend!
Great fun all weekend. I had a ball on the howling void mod and also had a great time helping out on main mod.
Kudos also to Damien and his Daimyo. It made feast fun.
I know this event was way sweet when I forgot about the cold. It takes a lot for that to happen to me.
Thanks again yous guys

So this was my first real KR event, and my first time LARPing in ages. I really enjoyed the chance to suit up and kick some tail. Most everyone I interacted with turned out friendly and good to play with, but I'd like to give some high-fives out to Wolfgar, Thorgrim, Gideon, and the young lady who NPCed the "lover's quarrel" with me. I wasn't expecting to make such good friends outside of people I'd already known, and I'm looking forward to seeing you guy again. In addition, I was particularly impressed by and enjoyed playing with Dame Heartwood, the Celts, Squire Sorel, and Teeg (spelling?). I hope I get to make even better friends with you folks next time.
The ... "staff" really knows what they are doing. Things like NPC shifts and work shifts being mandatory are great innovations. You guys are way better organized than any other LARP group I've ever seen; it pays off in a good, solid game that always has things going on and makes for a nice, cooperative atmosphere. The excitement and the mood is very infectious, and so immersive that stepping OUT of character became the hard thing to do.
All of my favorite moments were defined by what other people were doing - fighting alongside Wolfgar, debating religion with Father Edwin, using the blacksmith's greatsword against chaos warriors after learning what it meant to him ... none of the victories in battle measured up to the richness of interaction I found there.

Lots of Lowlights for this event, so I'll get them out of the way:
*Coming home with a 101+ fever and strep throat. If you have sore-throat type symptoms, get 'em looked at, mmkay?
*Too much cold (OOG)
*Too much angst (IG)
*Too much ARGH (IG and OOG)
Now for the Highlights:
*Finding a bed (thank you Shan-chan and Adam)
*knocking Tobar unconscious
*watching Tsoli spit vinegar
*Glommite cuddle-puddle
*Fainting spells
*Great RP with Dr. Maxwell, Rosa, Rannick, et alt.
*FEAST. Matt Magnus, I owe you lots of impromptu snuggling.
*entertaining folks by the fire Sunday Morning.

I would like to thank you all for making my first weekend event so memorable! Coming into something so completely new to me seemed scary, but everyone was very friendly and helpful and welcomed me most merrily! The highlights were the treasure hunting mod with the undead, nervously singing at feast, nomming a giant pile of salad, I third the glomminite cuddle puddle, all the newbies banning together fantastically, learning magic lore and advanced literacy, Remi actually making me work for Fanfare of Bold Action, shakily reconciling with Tobar, having Teeg (sp?) watch my back, watching the Baron divy up the loot, and watching six spirits be reanimated in the monastery. Also the giant scuffle to figure out the trinket I picked up, and Aleister trying to convince me to join Dragomire. The only lowlight I can think of is how god awful cold NPCing the Sat. overnight shift was! Also, a certain someone who was going to e- mail me about a certain something dropped a certain piece of paper...good job. high five.
I look forward to tumbling ever further into the great realm!

This event was crazy but so so fun
Highlights:
Meeting up with some old friends and making new ones
Being not so useless despite this being only my second event
Making a bunch of gold killing cobalts and being the only newer person able 2 eat that 50 fire attack and laughing at the cobalt for the look he made at me after I did
Managing to randomly scare and I think disturb 3 undead who were getting ready to attack the inn while just sitting outside smoking an alchemy stick, who would have thought they didn't like smoke
Finding about 6 gold just laying around in the snow
Making 1 of my many swords silver though I wasn't able to use it till Sunday morning
Being adopted by the gypsy's because I'm such close friends with most of them especially Marika Corsova
Toravisu's (sp?) extremely well made peppermint hot chocolate
Not Dieing
Lowlights:
Almost going head first into the fire in the fireplace when I woke up Saturday morning (don't ask)
Being called insane for randomly walking around the woods the night the mummy attacked by myself because I lost track of everyone when they all ran away
The cold weather
All the high level stuff coming out that I couldn't do to much against being this is only my 2nd event
Being really close to being hit in the crotch by what ever that one thing was that attacked the inn by itself Sunday night
The headache I got after drinking Wolfgars (sp?) sugary as heck stuff he made
The blinding sun on the way home
Getting my right leg broken twice by a gargoyle none the less by the same gargoyle
Had a great time and I can't wait till March

SO many good things this event but here are the highlights:
*Seeing everyone come out even with the promise of a ton of snow.
*Feast was sooooo Delicious!
*Learning all of the Smithing Basics.
*Meeting with Daimyo Kitsuki before feast which invoked so much inspiration and insight into playing a Khitan. Damien's RP was Intimidating both IG and OOG.
*An exchange made during the attack on the mummy's tomb:
NPC: "Chaotic Alteration!" against a PC standing next to me.
Me: "Intercept, Wild Shield!"
NPC: "That only works against an arcane spell."
Me: "Uhhh, oh right, Intercept! ....Inner-Calm?"
*After-Feast Dish Brigade, somehow the Knight and Two Squires of Kaladonia all ended up at the sink by way of volunteering, and thanks to the Gypsies who jumped in about halfway through to finish the job.
*Going to the Howling Void, though death was promised and delivered.
*NPC Kobolds for the new players, so much pinning!
