January Event Highlights

Friday:
-Nice long conversation with Paetros.  Michael, you are invariably a pleasure to RP with.
-Gypsy racial lesson.

Saturday:
-Awesome NPC shift.  I think my highlight was playing a master mage who transformed into the first lesser dread reaper to appear.
-Yet another Gypsy racial lesson.  I love RPing teaching Family secrets.
-Being dominated to obey Marika during the course of said lesson and the shenanigans that ensued.
-Learning my first enchantments and spellsongs.
-The music at Feast, esp. Raphael's new battle hymn.  
-Dread Reaper.
-Hydra.
-OMGHYDRA!
-Marika massage  

Sunday:
-Stabbin' Glommites.  Is there anything finer?
-Massage train.

All in all, a most satisfying event.  Looking forward to the next one.

Highlights:
- I fought a Hydra 
- Lord Pyre
- Mass on Saturday!  Can I get an amen?  Can I get a hallelujah?
- Teaching GET DOWN... I mean intercept
- Travancian snow ball fight
- Barbarian fight on Saturday afternoon before feast.  I had a lot of really good fights then.
- Interacting with Terri and Jeff M's dragoons over Jeff's IG spell book.  Definitely one of the most interesting and fun RPs I've had in a long time.

Accidently taking poison damage from a rat, forgetting I have a soak,
Realizing at the end of the event that I actually swing for more than I thought.

Getting to strike Seamus for two slays during the snowball fight... I knew he could take it, but when an Ogre is smoking a cigar, it's best not to throw a snowball at him.

Getting to sleep in the least crowded room in the camp!

Finally smoking my Opus X!

Enjoying the busiest event in a long time. The new construction the finished inn all FANTASTIC! the additions to the kitchen, marvelous. I want to extend my appreciation for everyone involved in that endeavor, thank you.
Friday
-the angry, irritable Quan's first victim.. Zander: "you alright, you look terrible?"
                                                          Quan Liu: " I, what? I should kill you for
                                                                          that go do your job!"
followed with some more rp and ending with a bounce that flings zander over the sofa- great acrobatics JimBob.

- Feast, all I can say is I love Pot Pie, thanks Diane!!

- The Demi ony realization, More great rp... Thanks Damien for plot and Geof for the use of the Jax appliance. Cant wait for February event..

Hail Hydra aside...

This past event was a fantastic time.  I want to personally thank all the RMs, Staff, Adam and any others involved in Weekend Plot, Damien for Khitan Plot and my fellow Monster Marshal's for a wonderful event had by all.  It is the passion and desire to be involved that drives us all and makes Knight Realms one of a kind.

I also want to thank all the NPCs on my shift for enduring the cold of the 2a - 6a NPC shift.  All of your motivation and drive to go out in the cold and entertain makes me proud to work along side of you all.

The fantastic RP with the rest of the Town Guard, the ever-amazing RP with Luis as Quan Liu, as well as the tense RP with Goose, Travis and Raf.  I look forward to February's event and the outcome of all of the interactions recently.

I want to remind everybody that aside from the hailing praises on the Highlight/Lowlight post, to please remember to utilize the Event Recap Form.  This is the single greatest source for speaking to the Officers and James about both good and bad, to help and make sure that our staff can host the best game it can for us as players.

With that said, Thank you everybody for being a part of this community and giving us all the chance to have memorable moments, great role playing and fantastic, fun combat even in the most adverse of weather conditions.
