Oh, I know... I just find it hilarious, especially considering the duplicitous nature of the first one *cough*.Having a nice heart to heart with each and every healer I knew. The same one. Five times. Information is valuable, but communication is priceless.
Hehehe, no one knew you already had the same heart to heart hon. It's always better to have repeat healers yell at you then hear it none at all.

Here goes for my highlights.....
Friday:
During the Order mod, Utgard getting turned into a fool's mummy and my flipping out when I thought he was dead. Rione's sacrifice was intense too- it really hit home that in order to pull this thing off, a lot of people are going to die and there's not much to be done about it.
Learning about the Witch Hunter houses from Seamus.
Saturday:
NPC shift:
KO'ing everyone in the Guard's barracks who were still asleep.
Running away as a wimpy goblin when Magnus told me I could drop my weapon or basically be skewered.
Afternoon:
Giving Simon the cold shoulder.
Continuing my sword-fighting lessons with Lord Brightstar- I think at least I'm starting to get the footwork down.
Learning to teach from Amalthea. It was an extremely informative lesson, and I like teaching...Having a nice heart to heart with each and every healer I knew. The same one. Five times. Information is valuable, but communication is priceless.
goose's feasts always have their highlights(you're amazing), but they rarely come by way of Enaxian dogma. lauren delivered a true standout moment when she coupled a look of dread and embarrassment with a quick retreat behind her hat, perhaps sensing a confrontation between germaine and a then-preaching utgard....that said, it is no surprise that amalthea's response to war was similarly enjoyable for me.
Thanks for the shout out, which leads to another highlight: Trying to figure out who could break Utgard's arm for a healing lesson as Germaine walked past....
Also, feast was delicious. Marshmallows, raspberries and brownies are an awesome combo, and the chicken was great. Thanks, Goose!
I'm kind of sorry I missed the Doll....
-Epic RP with the healer's. I feel SOOOOO bad that I missed healer mod...and that poor Aquene and Sonaiya (sp?) were taken...should have been me
I feel the same way. We healers are just a bunch of martyr-minded masochists, aren't we?
Sunday: Having follow-up conversations with the healers about said mod.....
Oh, I know... I just find it hilarious, especially considering the duplicitous nature of the first one *cough*.
I was first?! Cool!!!! I mean, er.....
Overall, not really any lowlights except missing the healer mod, but c'est la vie. Can't wait to see everyone at the alt event

PC Highlights:
- Getting 'hired' at the bar and subsequently making a new friend - yay Sannyiah!
- Though ...boo, Simon. Hehehe. Some interesting and useful conversation with him that I hope will bear fruit in the future.
(As a note, working at the bar is a really great way for a new person to get into things.)
- Internal merriment thanks to meeting a drunken, talkative Kamen.
- A couple of tarot readings, one done for Livia and the rest done by her for others, that were a really nice way to open the character's story.
- The horrible, awful, terrible wonderful thing that doll made poor Livia do.
- Crying three times in 48 hours at my first event ever with a brand new character. Thanks, Emerson. Ahem.
....and thanks, Nadine, too, as she nearly made me cry once, and for giving me the BEST WORST IDEA EVER.
- Exploring/patrolling with Sannyiah and Magistrate Shen; secretly pondering what sort of alchemical essences one might find in the belly of a hydra....and wondering if she could get one day Kamen to go haring off after the beast to slay it for her so she can find out.
- Feeling useless, idle and weak, being filled with hate for this fact, and therefore having immediate motivation for character change.
NPC Shift Highlights:
- JINGLES. SHADOWY EFFING JINGLES.
- Marcella. Thank God for you, girl. If it weren't for you, we'd have been SHADOWED and JINGLING until 8 in the morning.
- Making the guy in logistics wet himself - and in relation, being allowed, for the first time in my 13 years LARPing, to actually scream as loud as I possibly can. Which I didn't do because I'm not sure I totally believed that I could, but it was pretty close.
- Fainting. For some reason, I get a kick out of falling on the floor, which is another thing I don't get to do often in LARPing.
Random Highlights:
- Getting to play this character background type, which I have wanted to a good 4 years or so.
- ZACH FINDING MY CARDS! Thank you, Zack. I love you forever.
- Feast. I was seriously impressed. Kudos to cook and staff.
- Chris assuring me that I am not high maintenance. It ain't easy, being new.
Lowlights:
Not getting paid for bar tending. I forgot who I needed to go to to have my soul signed. (I also feel really odd, writing that.)
Not knowing the rules well enough to have an idea how to immediately pursue said immediate motivation for character change. Foo.
Missing the Gypsy party that was the whole reason I decided to play the character this weekend in the first place. I didn't know anyone who could escort me, where to go to, and was too scared to wander out into the dark alone - because the player had never even seen the campsite, let alone the character seen the countryside. I guess I could have liked a little metagaming to benefit the new and clueless there.... ah, well.
Still, thanks to everyone for making me feel so welcome! I'm looking forward to May's event.

This. Ilana's concerned by the common sense level of some of the healer's shown this month. She loves them anyways thoughI feel the same way. We healers are just a bunch of martyr-minded masochists, aren't we?

-kamen at the bar lol im pretty sure he never stayed so long in a conversation actually at the bar interesting..
-the dragoon oracle made for a lot of good RP with the dragoon players as well as the mages guild.
-invading the markovian keep sat night that was flippin fantastic, as we fought we saw the devil in the background talking put me as shen really into the part.
- shen walking with sannyiah and livia around the camp as they wanted the company, was a lot of good RP there
-dark elves man that’s always fun, I hope the players had as much fun trying to find us as we had trying to do hit and runs, more to come with that mwahahah
