I want to thank Kelly and Cy for volunteering for my two large roles. Kelly did an awesome job leading the Drow group and Cy was just all over the place kicking every ass.
Kelly really fleshed out what could have turned into a throwaway role, and organized the drow in her group well enough to take advantage of the chaos the other drow were causing all over the place.
Cy woke early to endure an hour of the grossest smelling make-up application ever (Thanks, Dio!) and then 12 hours of being the town pinata. I thought it was a nice touch when on main mod he began clawing the skin off his face once he heard the soothe song. (Which, while it worked and worked well, I would like to go on record as saying kum ba yah was not my idea. That was all you, Travance.) This served the dual purpose of getting that nasty stuff off his face that much sooner.
Big thanks to everyone else who NPCed for me throughout the event, whether it was all the drow on Friday that proved that a small card is still dangerous if well applied, or all the murdermooks that recycled a million times through the meat grinder, you guys went all-in on your roles and it really showed.
Also many thanks to Steve, Mike Smith, and especially Kristen, my ST wingmen. I literally could not have done it without you.

-Assisting the one smith in the inn with fixing loads upon loads of armor.
-The small Keryth’rina service was solemn and beautiful.
-NPC shift time! Josh and Karen, you played a really convincing pet experimental water elemental spider creature. Gina, OH MY GOD our rats were hysterical!! “You see, my brain is thick! That means its bigger and I’m smarter *squeak*!!” and “Lets goes to the Dragon’s Foots Bar!”
-Jenna, when you brought me to jail and I said that I was looking for a man for the evening, it had nothing to do with the sleep poison…although jumping to those conclusions made for a very interesting arrest!
Saturday:
-A few hours of sleep at the waterfront. The Guildmaster is the perfect alarm clock for Rowan. “Would anyone like a cookie?” Rowan pretty much did an athletic feat to get out of bed that quickly.
-Market Faire was glorious! Rowan blew so much gold with all of the food and knick-knacks being sold. One day, she’s going to be selling home-baked goods to make back that money!
-Bard part involving the Discordant Lorestri was perfect. All the bards got to be involved, from the least seasoned minstrels to the masters of bardics, and we each had an essential role to play. It wasn’t even about calling skills are using spells, but we all used our OOG artistic talents to collaborate and create beautiful music.
-Rowan had a blast in the field after Elawyn repaired the weave. “Its just like the Shire!”
-Oh noes! We need scholars to make scrolls of calm, and do research on deamons, do research on faeries, and trudge down the dangerous road to the library! Amizar and Arden, you are troopers :)
-FEAST!!!
-Thank you all for being a wonderful audience. Rowan barely got to eat at feast, but it was all worth it! A special shout out to all the other bards, and Josh for letting me borrow his guitar. (and OHMIGOURD THE WHOLE THING WAS FILMED FOR AMC *freaking out*!!!!)
-Main Mod! GAAAH! It took a lot of organization: props to JJ for Aemorniel’s research. Girl, I didn’t know you could shout that loud; you got me all frightened.
-As a professional musician, I love it when I can get my audience to sing with me. The fact that half of Travance joined in on Nocturne of Soothing Sounds was just freaking EPIC!!
Sunday:
-The time spend at the Baronial Manor/Winterdark was filled with amazing roleplay, and the bard lesson with the Baroness. Rowan and Billiam’s interactions were so interesting and the tension felt could’ve been be cut with a knife.
-Arden instilled confidence in Rowan so she could meet Winks. It looks like this month was Rowan’s time to tear down boundaries and get out of her comfort zone.
-Lessons with Tobar, but this time, the student becomes the teacher! I was really nervous about teaching. That was my first lesson taught and it was quite a hallmark for both Rowan and myself.
This was a great weekend overall with all of the RP opportunities I had. Thank you everyone, especially Vince for his hard work and creative plots!

It was great to see new faces, especially those I recognize from real life, and I loved hearing that they had a great time!!
Friday was quiet and nice (to start, more on that later). Saying hi to everyone as usual, the normal things.
Being totally floored IG by an offer from Aemorniel concerning attire, family heirlooms, and a certain impending ceremony
The Keryth'rina ceremony we held at the inn due to inclement weather. It was quite nice and very sweet. Props to JJ again.
Hanging about, being silly, talking and drinking.
Retiring early, and realizing for the moment that I was the only one in the Guildhall.
Getting woken up maybe an hour later by a marshal because of a plot continuing from last month. Immediately knowing it was going to be a loooooong night.
Thank god for the protections on the guild, without them I'd probably have taken a tag. That being said, I don't know why anyone would think I'd let anyone I didn't recognize into the guild. Let alone a group of five.
Some undead moaning and groaning around the windows after that, telling me that something wasn't mine and I should return it. Sigh. I just wanted sleep.
Surviving the rest of the night undisturbed.
Saturday, waking up and getting dressed and witnessing a hobbit vault out of bed for an offer of cookies. Always very entertaining.
Milling about market fair, seeing tooth demon run around for a bit. Trying not to laugh because he was horrifying but the circumstances were just so odd.
CHOCOLATE COVERED BACON ON A STICK
Keeping Croi in one place for over an hour. Arden and I deserve awards. The piano in the barroom did help though. So how are those cookies, Croi?
Teaching lessons! Literally. Teaching someone to teach. It's always interesting.
Steve's merchant coming in and flinging his wares around. Found out later that I was very glad to not have needed to buy anything.
Mirwen has a brand-new outfit now, and I love it so much!! Best way to put a Quinarian in a great mood is to introduce pretty clothing. (thanks, Kelly!!)
Lots of sorcery to assist with, culminating in my second lesson on the matter!
Mage's Guild meeting, reveiwing various topics to eventually talking about the Discordant Lorestry...only to be interrupted by people, needing help dealing with some Discordant Lorestry. Funny how that happens sometimes.
Arriving just a little late to feast because more sorcery, being lucky to get a seat and some food, and then promptly going up to sing with the bards.
...Aemorniel, why did you ever tell him that was a good idea?
Kitchen clean up silliness as always. I'm pretty sure people just don't know what to do when I break character back there, especially if they've never met me oog before. It's always priceless.
Milling about after for a bit, waiting to see what was going to happen, and having great fun with harmonizing along with the bards to soothe the demon. I miss singing.
Retiring a bit after that, pausing out at Kaladonia for out of game reasons, and regretting that when, as my group started to continue on to the Mage's Guild, we were nearly set upon by Zach as this month's bout of the phantasms. Quote of the evening: 'oh no i saw this thing at the inn RUN JUST RUN GO INVOKE WINDWALKER' ...luckily, there were two of us with windwalkers and only three total. so after running full tilt to the waterfront and slamming the door soundly behind us, i think I locked every window in that place with magic. (and then zach came in for a little warmth and pleasant discussion on the lores we had that might clue us in a little more to what he was.)
Sunday NPC! Favorite moments: Puppy mod, most certainly...jumping off a chair and diving THROUGH the metal hoop/firewood storage device when one of the 'bad men in black' came looking for me again. Dani, you were awesome for that whole thing. I started crying when we were out on the back porch, that was probably the best RP I've ever had on an NPC shift. You're awesome.
Crazy alchemist/ettercap woman!! All I wanted to do was feed my darlings, my children-i can't stop what wanders into their webs, and I certainly won't take their toys away, not when they were clever enough to capture them all by themselves! I had so much fun RPing that out before it devolved into fighting. But hey, what else is there to do when an insane woman says she's gonna use her spiders to take over Arrawyn. Great fun, everyone that showed up for that mod and thanks to James for running an awesome shift!
Another great weekend come, gone, and spent. Ah well. I'll see whoever I will at Dreamation and everyone else next month! Can't wait to be back, as usual!

I believe it was Aemorniel and someone else (I'm not sure, and I'm so sorry, but this was brilliant...) looking over Domenic's previously reanimated body.
Aemorniel: Yes, I recognize Doctor Maxwell's stitch work...
Person: Not to mention the smiley face in the intestines...
Aemorniel: Yes, of course...

Shouting 'Mirwen' during Chariots at feast. I'm pretty sure I turned roughly the color of an overripe tomato. Entertaining and unexpected, though.

I forgot one of my favorite highlights. Being told with my research that the blood on the scroll was dark elven among many other things about the scroll when I got my answers. When I relayed the information to my brother first, I licked the page where the "blood" was and said musingly: "yup. Definitely dark elven." His face was great as he hesitated to ask. "Umm...how do you know what dark elven blood tastes like...?" The glance between us spoke volumes before I said quietly: "you don't want to know." Poor Ardin--always left in the dark it seems about what happened to his little sister in the Underdark.

And then Sunday happened.
Now, to the highlights!
Friday:
- Healing lessons! Always nice to learn more spells!
-Smashing down the doors as an undead... only to find empty beds in the cabins. Bummer!
-I don't think I caused much trouble with my undead combat skills, but HAHA I RUINED CONVERSATIONS IN THE INN!
-NPCing as a Gypsy while the other encounters were busy was fun. Drugging others drinks with sleeping poison was also fun. Getting caught by the guard? Not so much. To the person who plays Zafrin I almost peed my pants when you pulled me aside and started to interrogate me.
Saturday:
-Market Faire! Oh goodness the things being done to bacon is so scandalous AND I LOVE IT.
-Thanks to Norm’s Alt for taking the time to escort me around and offer protection, especially against the Red Caps! Finally got the chance to roleplay reactions to kindness!
-Identify Compound lesson, which may lead to more potion making in the future… Who knows!
-Getting the nickname “Lollipop Man” from a few PCs.
-Thanking for lending that feather, Croi! MORE HEALING POINTS AHOY.
-FEAST MAN FEAST. MORE BACOOOON~
-Helping Amizar and Rowan collect sticks to make delicious treats what will make you want to ask for “Some-More”. A Healer, a Bard and a Scholar enter the woods joke ensued.
-Rage Demon main mod madness. Poor Al wasn't reacting well to all the hatred from the demon. Also conversing with the other healers about how confused they all were. Cool that I got to help out in the ritual.
-Discussions with Amizar over the difference between good and evil. Fun stuff to talk about late in the night!
Sunday:
-Philosophy with Croi. Discussed whether Heroes exist. Her answer was surprising similar to Albert’s.
-Heading to Winterdark to watch Croi have Lord Brightstar smash his face into a pie… unfortunately that didn't happen (b-but we ate the pie).
-Eating pie with the Baroness.
-Talking with the Baroness.
-Sitting in on a bardic lesson the Baroness taught. Nocturne of Soothing Sounds on the Berserker... pls dont hurt mez.
-Have I mentioned the Baroness?
So I ended up receiving an offer that could very much change my experience at KR IG and OOG. Needless to say, it’s piqued my curiosity enough that I’ll really need to step up my a-game and get out there.
I’m very much looking forward to what is in store for the future. Now... time to buy nicer clothing.

Friday:
Disney singalong on the drive up. This must happen again.
Hearing about the AMC stuff...based on some of the interviews I saw, should be interesting.
Patrolling for drow with Lt Blacktree and the guard.
Pulling random pieces of candy out of my cloak pockets all game to feed people.
NPC shift:
Out with Josh, Gina, and Teresa as ratmen and giant spiders. Hilarity ensues. And a surprising meeting with Master Haroldson where we made it out alive.
Saturday:
Being woken up by Jonas Kane coming into Drega'room at 8 am -_-
Guard meeting and stuffs.
Buying purty things from Kelly at Market Faire. Wut, Annora's getting fancy? Preposterous!
Redcaps, redcap general, a demon, and chasing after a silly dragoon. Good times.
Stealing all the hats.
Orias Wormwood, bread thief! Alex, as always, entertaining RP. But my bread.
Entertaining chats with Darius...Sam, it's always fun.
Receiving my final master warrior lesson. Now must plot to steal Steve's shield...
Being disrupted by goblins at 4am when I'm trying to go to bed, immolating them all, then stomping off to sleep. I think I amused the NPCs at least.
Sunday:
Treats from Marika. A+ noms.
Learning lore druid in a very pleasant lesson from Elawyn.
Oren and the religion of bacon. The holy word is oink.
Hood club vs. Hat club! Vince, Conor...sorry, but you're going down.
There's so much more, but this weekend just blended all together. Fun times, can't wait for March!

-i had a blast coming out on the new player intro! will, sean, and all the first timers made it a very positive experience. equally excited to watch the progress of both "nice girls" and new chaos warriors!
- jen w, i owe you a debt for keeping continuity alive and for gifting me great roleplay moments, both directly and otherwise. i always look forward to our interactions, but what you choose not to say and when you choose to absent are often as powerful as your words and actions. your performance is always so solid that i assume there are details that ive missed, a rare and treasured attribute!
-john h, jen f, and the rest that were still drinking when the sun came up. the whole, hours long, scene was gold with john's attention to continuity and jen's penchant for subtle jabs being the high points. praise be to god!
-disemboweling kelly's drow was more fun than it probably should have been.
-Keith S, Val, is the best player at knight realms.
-the voice of a younger elawyn, retrieved from the bottom of a whiskey well. more than i could have hoped for, and more than WW could handle. Ms. Mudpony's passion for her own role, and for all the stories it touches on forces me to up my game every event. tag team champs.
-Tyler S, both as a tyr and as an npc, was a joy to fight against and roleplay with this month. cant help but be impressed with how much he's grown as a player since the early days. just saying thanks to contributing to my good time, brother!
-I'm terrible with names, but the alisandrian blacksmith is a credit to his profession. he brought a high level of intensity in his roleplaying working under the gun this month. additionally, he consistently brings an air of concern and pride regarding the quality of his work to the table that makes the business of "getting moar APS so i can pwn" feel more like a real life transaction with a true craftsman. he gets my coin on principle.
