Well this was my first KR event and I cannot wait to come back! I had a blast NPCing all weekend, everyone was very helpful and answered all my questions that I had about anything. Everyone at logistics did a great job and I didn't see any issues worth noting. I had a blast and look forward to my next outing.
Thank you everyone for the experience.

Well to start I got to witness a bar fight between Zatar Kane and Duncan which was a lively experience except for the fact that I was on the receiving end of the losing side of that experience. Most importantly for me however was the fact that a few of my friends from my local gaming group were brought along and they had a blast for their first experience. Which was the exact reaction I was expecting btw. The game is extremely appealing and the fact my friends who experienced larping for their first time were smiling the entire time vindicated me in recommending them coming here. Personally true my character got stronger and I had a blast ,but the thought of knowing that the same reaction that I had was experienced from my friends made the whole trip for me. I'm still saying my favorite line that my friend Forrest said in character, "Fleeing from the guard that's a hanging"

Friday:
Hanging out with everyone.
Cake! Not only cake, but Red Velvet cake!
Late Night Shenanigans.
Fighting an Illithid and running out of intercepts only to watch Ven get dominated right in front of me.
The fight that escalated quickly between Ven and Tyros.
Druid meeting and listening to the debates. (yes it may have been on Saturday, but I never went to bed so it was still Friday for me.)
Saturday:
Switching out to play George and convincing Ilana to read to us at the Scholar's table while we had no sleep at all. Meeting Zinnia and several other "magically gifted" people.
Getting questioned as is required by law and answering most of the questions with "not to my knowledge".
The perfect storm which was my final arch-casting lesson. We first went out into the open field by the off to the left of the inn. Immediately after starting to create a focus the Visagalis meeting started and they thought it would be a good idea to do that next to a wild mage lesson. Soon after telling them it may not be the safest place to be, we all get attacked by Morlans. I was hoping that I was going to get hit once during that time, but they did a good job keeping them away from me, so the surge didn't happen until Ilana used a windwalker to move me.
The continued RP right after the lesson had been completed.
Late night NPC shift and being requested to walk into the woods and get killed.
Sunday:
More enjoyable RP with people.
Juggling and getting some tips.
More Cake!

~ Helping out with check-in. This was a highlight for me because I got to meet and say hi to everyone before we started game. Definitely will ask to do this again in the future.
~ Reading the new healer ledger and seeing a blue light right at lay-on. Finding out who and why later and being unable to judge her for it. Sad, but I understand.
~ Edwin finally got the massage I owed him for like 3 months! And we got a whole lot of politics... I do not like politics, but there was some great RP there by Lucien and Aldric.
~ First Andorran Mass! I was so nervous, I spent a lot of oog time / effort / cash to make that altar space / shrine and to make that mass a nice, unique experience. I really hope people who attended it enjoyed it. Thank you all for coming and participating. Especially clerics who stood guard over it; Aldric, Lucien, Seamus and also the couple who made out next to the altar; Aella and Caldor. Totally appropriate and wonderful. <3
~ The Black Bird. Tasty beverages for exorbitant prices... you rob me? I rob you back! Thank you for the poker fun, I hadn't had an excuse IG that worked before which would allow me to play. Taking your gold away to later use to feed poor people or fund other good deeds didn't bother Angeliana one bit. Danielle's face at logistics when I emptied my dress sleeve pseudo pouch where I was carrying the gold to deposit it was priceless.
~ Oh the drunken Schenanighans... All of it. Hazel, Jorik, you two are sweet, thanks for tolerating my absurdness.
~ Hazel! such a wonderful, kind, lovely new student! I'm sorry I made it hard for you to tail me, I did warn you Angeliana gets pulled into many directions but I thoroughly enjoyed your company and all of the rp.
~ Brother Aldric's refusal to be dodged on the question of Angeliana's mental check-up. Congratulations on ridding her of her final insanity which had been lingering for 8 months.
~ Tobias; I barely have words for how wonderful and patient you were while curing said insanity. Best RP I've had from an IG shrink yet. Hazel; thanks so much for comforting Angeliana as she re-lived some of her trauma.
~ Cake! Tis was not a lie! and was had barbarian style, which was appropriate seeing as how Astrid just told Angeliana she was a healer hero people look up to in the northlands. She was confused and humbled but cake is cake, her baker mother would have killed her if she refused. I thoroughly enjoyed shoving cake into people's mouths with my hands, not to mention the Morlins who attacked Angeliana seeking gems.
Morlin: GEEEEEEEM!
Angeliana: CAAAAAAAAAAKE!
~ Breakfast rush! I actually had fun taking orders cooking and serving breakfast Saturday morning. Crystal thanks for being awesome with the pancakes.
~ Jed... Swyft... mmhmm ya. Helping arrest Jed and escort him to the jail, sitting with him and reading his bible until Lord Aleister came and handed him his writ. Later him biting my arm and Lucien almost losing his shit.
~ Watching Lucien and Ava. So proud of both of them! The reaction Ava had when Angeliana told her she loved her, later winking at her as she left and not getting a glare. Baby steps! :)
~ The sound meditation! OMG this was amazing. Typhon led it and Caldor suggested Angeliana would enjoy this. This actually helped me OOG as well so thanks Dave and Jason. Not to mention it was the perfect setting for massaging Amalthea and Utgard.
~ All of the massages given and received. As always, I thoroughly enjoy relieving pain if I am truly able to.
~ All of the Phokus attunements! Also, saving two people from losing tags, huzzah for responsible healer who asks the right questions? Thank you Caldor and Gobspit for the huge help.
~ Private chat with my student Albert. So proud of you!
~ Comparing the deities of light to the basic elements for a metaphor on how we are different and yet should work together to utilize our unique strengths during the Light mass. Also, sitting
~ Running to the phokus for main mod when Angeliana heard it was under attack, not stopping and running straight into the entire Morland army alone. Failed Parlay, as usual, interactions with NPCs in sanctuaries are always a highlight. Thanks to the new players who RPed with Angeliana and were convinced to walk away from the fight.
~ Meditating at the Andorran altar for an hour after Balfurious killed thousands at the end of main mod. Kyle took a great shot of this, thanks!
~ A true honor to consecrate Naysowee's Holy Symbol for him and putting it around his neck! Yay Andorran cleric! I feel less lonely now. Funny watching Caldor explain why he shouldn't attempt guarding Angeliana.
~ Muhammad Al'akir's gift. Holy shit, my jaw, the floor... Angeliana ran around Squeeing and showing it to as many people as she could. Also, blowing all sorts of courage type mental defenses for RP reasons cause death herald... ya eek. Oh while I'm on that, hugging him and his expression.
~ Taking on some nasty diseases which were otherwise incurable then Soul Warden style self healing them Thanks Zach for making me feel cool for having the heroic healer list.
Main highlight for me, as it always is, seeing some wonderful friends who mean a lot to me. Can't wait to see you all again KR family, until then, take care!

Lets see...
Friday Night: Picking up the ever enthusiastic Becky Willett aka Kit and getting settled in. Saw the stove in the Monastery and thought to myself, Laura is going to cry. Laid back getting ready and chatting with folks. Going into costume and wandering over to the Tavern for lay on, just surveying the crowd. Lots of new people again I noticed.
Lay On:
Grumbling Aldric is grouchy. Going along to Pendarvin to RP with Charlie, send a message, then back to the Monastery for Andorran Mass. Pulling perimeter guard duty with Lucien, and later Seamus. Didnt listen to much of the Mass sorry Alice, but I received a bunch of compliments on my recipe for Mead. (Note to self, write that down.) Then running back to Pendarvin after Edwin blew a gasket, again. Pulling perimeter guard duty on a higher leadership meeting, gave me a fly on the wall look at how things are run, interesting. Compromise.....
Saturday:
NPC shift in the morning. For some reason I wake up way too early at KR. So wandered around in half garb, until it was time. Morlens. Morlens and more Morlens. After the shift was up ran back to the Monastery to get back into game for CoL Mass. Managed to get a decent turn out and got assists from Angeliana and Caldor. Even had Godric speak at Mass which was nice. My Mead managed to last through that Mass too. Glad people enjoyed it.
Feast was amazing as always. Blew alot of purify food and drink points on our table after the wine was poisoned. Turned to a new player after purifying all of the food, "That is why you have Clergy say Grace." Afterwards Cursed Monastery shenanigans and the Morlen attack.
After being all business through the event, the Pub Crawl turned out to be my highlight. Nothing beats pure rp with good friends, and Five Gold worth of ale. The Bartenders actually were concerned I was drinking too much Koolaid and tried to get me to switch to water. You know you are larping hard when the fake bar tries to cut you off. Apologies to those I offended, and congratulations to the new bartender Ms. Herrister. I look forward to continuing our battle of wills, and punishing Aldric's Liver.
I had to run out of the camp early due to work that afternoon, so I missed Sunday stuff and hanging out with people at the Diner, really wish I had a better schedule. But, as always thanks to the staff for a wonderful event and a shout out to the Kitchen folks for a wonderful feast and for feeding us throughout!

Great RP all around with Aldric, Angeliana, and Lucian. As a result, swallowed my pride and went to the monastery to speak with the Bishop, as asked. As I entered, she told me I was not welcome in the monastery. Thus, what Dave referred to as "blowing a gasket." Mentioned in my best referee voice that if she wants to speak with me in the future, she can do so at Pendarvin.
What seemed like the entire Light Clergy going to Pendarvin.
Learning lore: Teligrim from He Who Must Not be Named.
Pendarvin-Kaladonia cookout First rate. Ardin learned the true meaning of nobility, by having to cook the meats.
Arrived way early for the Mages' Guild meeting and had the company of 4 NPC mages. Had a serious discussion on magic and personal development. Taught them a few spells. Lydias Goodbarrel arrived early and also assisted at my request. As a result I promoted the first of my pupils to being able to take on an apprentice. They grow up so quickly.
Rosavilla (sorry if I spelled it wrong) FTW.
Zach getting into my pants, though you will have to ask him or Kayla about it.
In addition to the great RP with the church and NPC mages, there was much in Pendarvin as well.

There was so much good at this game! First off, thank you to everyone who either became an Order of the Cheese Grater or listened to my story. I just bought more ribbon so I’ll have plenty more in September. Also, I love meeting new people!! (Feel free to ask me about the Order! Or ask others about the order! Heck, use it as a way to meet other people!)
Friday:
- Sam is hilarious as Teddy. Finally someone who gets bored easier than Ginny. (Why is the satyr the responsible one??)
- A few fights, a few great conversations. Discussing the need for a standing appointment in order to see someone at game.
- A confusing moonlit stroll. Probably is going to become one of Ginny’s projects.
- Late night fire with Alisandria. All are welcome – just don’t walk into the fire when stuff attacks!
- Being one of the last to go to bed and waiting up for Alexander before tying up the tent and sealing it with bardics.
Saturday:
- Getting pulled out of mass to help with Elizabeth Kane (and getting to miss mage’s guild meeting because of it too) and learning a lullaby from her. Sir Pluvious was so wonderful with her.
- Learning about kissing and how one does it (didn't practice though, lol)
- Learning about flirting, how you know if it’s happening, and being concerned that she was flirting without even noticing
- Having to handle Alisandrian stuff, bursting into tears, and being comforted by her family. The outpouring of love towards her was phenomenal, and just what she needed.
Sunday:
- Meeting Nelly. They are two peas in a pod!
- Alisandrian accents
- Talking with Nalick regarding lady issues
- Meeting Eamon and being BLOWN AWAY by his talents.
- Giving Godric a flower while he was meditating. She’s getting better about not interrupting people when they’re busy.
NPC Stuff:
Oh goodness. The RP after the mad mod battle as a Morland. It was phenomenal. Props to Erik and Ferris for rocking the morlord stuff. I loved having an NPC have to make major life decisions! Well done, gents. Then leading my rat pack around, licking everything to claim it. Most of us survived until the last slaughter when we all turned into mess. (“Did it work? “I think so?”) But it was even fun after that, so props to the new/newer players who came with (thanks for being awesome) and to those who hooked us up to some fun stuff afterwards.
LASTLY: I can’t believe there’s a new bar in town and no one told Ginny about it or invited her along!!

Here's some Albert highlights from me to you!
-Healing lessons and Phokus attuning.
-Clearing up loose ends and communicating.
-Doing my best to avoid someone IG (and hoping that someone noticed).
-Hiding under tables.
-Long awaited talks with Father Lazarus about religion and internal conflict.
-Showing vulnerability from a shy and withdrawn character to a good friend and teacher.
-Being torn between doing what is right and following destiny.
-Making a decision that will have consequences, resulting in sweet and beautiful RP.
-Undergoing a trial of sorts with characters mine has never interacted with, and working with them so all succeed.
-The "witches coven" at Main Mod. What a wonderful ritual to participate in!
-Attaining clarity after months of confusion.
-Scaring/confusing close friends with abnormal amounts of compassion.
-Albert met a complete stranger Friday Night, and left with a good friend Sunday Afternoon.
And for an OOG highlight, getting to spend a lovely Sunday afternoon with the person I love.

Wow. Just wow. Where the hell do I start?
-It's about damn time, Herrister, about damn time
-Discussing woes about how all the guys want committed relationships while she just wanted a fun night or two.
-Following Morlins around and trying to keep them from taking an incorrect gem to their supervisor and dying with Ilana and Utgard.
"Aren't they afraid of you."
"It must be the strength of my glorious Enax!"
"Or your shoulderpads."
-Discussions with Father Lazarus and Father Michael were a lot of fun. Helped Clytie with something that she had been debating for months now
-A very interesting proposition for a stranger.
-Learning about the Blackbird from Sebastien. Now she can't drink anywhere else, you ruined everything!
-Shadowing the diplomacy between the Church of Visigalis and the Sphere of the New Dawn while trying to not die at the hands of the Morlins. Pasha's prophecies really interested her, especially with the possibility of a tie in to the fires in Pendarvin. Lucien saved her life along the way, so she gave him her old sun pendant as a thank you.
-Pasha then led a few scholars, Lucien, Ava, and herself into harm's way in order to get gnomish field notes. It was okay until the orcs discovered that they didn't have to walk on the paths and could walk around the walls of fire in the grass. Everyone was exhausted after that.
-Lured into light mass with promises of booze. And it was pretty great, great job on the mead, Dave!
-Puzzle mod was a blast, and I got to do some decoding again! I haven't done it since high school, and oh how I've missed it! Oh yeah, and Clytie got her hands on a powerful crystal.
-Visigalis mod part one was fun, and only solidified my resolve in Clytie's decision, and she got her hands on yet another powerful crystal. Seriously, there were like five this game just to throw the Morlins off.
-Feaaaaaaaaaaaaaast
-Visigalis mod part two/neo-pagan ritual mod/main mod was nothing less than magic. And no one could dominate Clytie. No one was gonna bring her down.
-Trying to understand poker. She couldn't understand when hands were involved and when faces were involved.
-All of the discussions and lessons and such. Clytie now knows all she needs to make a really badass hard iced tea for sale later.
-One particularly deep conversation with Meander, which has been frankly overdue. Also overdue, a discussion with Sebastien about his methods of friendship.
All in all, this was an incredible event, and I look forward to next event!

They keep getting better!
I will try to be brief, else I will be here all day.
Clergy duties with Danae, Aldric, Angel, Chance and... Edwin . Great stuff everyone!
The Andorran Mass by Angeliana. Best Mass RP ever witnessed.
Meeting Clytie in desperate circumstances. Everyone on that archaeology mod!
Ava bringing out the best in Lucien while reminding him of the worst in himself.
Church of Light Mass and all the new blood in the room.
Extremely moving, private exchange with Romeo's character. The song had me on the edge of tears. So good!
Watching Templar Rayven lead all the church on an undead stomping spree. We need to stick together always. Unstoppable white glowing bulldozer.
Father Godric and what I will call "The burdens of truth". Great stuff between us, Ava and Mordra.
Learning to be a Scholar. Sweet.
Even more RP with Ava Godric and Mordra. You guys are top tier!
Thanks everyone, you made it a blast!

Father Haroldson's controversial mass, learning more about Haroldson and Valos.
Getting to attend so many Light Masses! (Angeliana's was so pretty!)
An absolutely awesome discussion with Orophin and Merikh. SO fascinating to get a glimpse inside the head of these characters! They do such a great job of explaining themselves.
Chatting with Father Lazarus and theorizing about Visigalis. Truly wonderful exchange! I had such a deep and insightful Friday night because of all this religious lore going around.
The morning Guard meeting was great! Grimkjell is really stepping up and Duncan's drill was awesome and fun.
Visiting Jed and seeing his disfigured face and being blamed for it. Having to deal with knowing Atrus (who was absent) had faltered in his tenants because of the previous moon and that something horrible was going to or already did happen to him...
… Then later having to arrest Jed because he decided he was too good to go get his writ. And he actually gloated about it. What an ordeal that was! Jed, the drama queen!
(Thank-you for all your help, Angeliana! lol)
Speaking with the Light Church, who were mostly supportive! Getting to know Lucien better and chatting about Valos with him.
Learning who Telegrim was and about some of the dragons' history via Terezi, who really knew her stuff! ( Aldric I'm sorry I broke character with you and laughed but oh man, I could not help it when I saw you staring with SUCH disapproval. )
Breaking down in front of a very supportive Goggins, when relating what was going on with the crazy extremist Glommites.
Kensai mod was fantastic!!!! It was so well orchestrated, everyone functioned so well together and the Kensai you sent out to run it was extremely polished at what he explained. It was hella' fun being able to play the role of fighter, legitimately! I'm so glad I chose Ronin!
As usual, it was a very fun weekend, full of wonderful encounters as it usually is. Feast was fun to do and it was gratifying to hear that people enjoyed it. There was SOOO much chicken!
We should have made an actual tub of mashed potatoes, though. People generally want to bathe in them.
This was a learning event for me. It's perhaps the first time I'm getting pulled deeply into some lores of the game and I'm enjoying the journey quite a lot. This new burst of focus in spirituality within the game is fun to try and figure out.
Oh and the new Phokus was BEAUTIFUL. The addition of the book was a GREAT idea. Thank-you so much!

So I'm a little bit late to the game in getting these posted, but was figuring out job things and having birthday fun. OKAY SO Highlights!
Friday:
-Taking a night OFF from the bar.
-Discussions before and after coming through the portal with Imrahil
-Andoran and Gaian masses were both amazing. I was really happy to be able to take part.
-Healing lessons and discussions with Albert at the phocus. Always have so much fun spending time with my Teacher! Should probably mention that one of the other highlights for me was him hiding under the table in the Inn from someone I've been told not to name, not yet ;P
Saturday (in no particular order)
-Discussions about stones and things with Lois Maxwell.
-Confusion about stones with several people including Sir Silverbow
-BARTENDER TRAINING and throwing Aldric off his game (I love my new tenders!)
-Feast: I promise we had nothing to do with the poisoned wine!
-Spending the night in the monestart after Namit got Thalia and Tris out of the Inn.
-All the RP with Tris. Getting invited to visit her at home.
-Being there with Leandra when her teacher was brought back through the phocus.
-Discussions with Mirwen regarding Pendarvin, trying to answer very generall questions about Dwarves for Arden.
-RONIN MOD! This was the first heroic mod that I've ever been on (for reasons of absense I missed the two I actually was supposed to go on.) This mod was FANTASTIC. Honor Guard is an amazing skill, and for all of this mod, I felt ENTIRELY immersed. Matt C., Drew and the NPCs get all the props ever for making this mod as amazing as it was. Thank you for letting me be part of it!
Sunday:
Unfortunately I had to leave early on Sunday because I had to be elsewhere. But I had a very nice conversation in Penarvin regarding rules and lifestyle build.
Cannot wait for next game! I had a GREAT time this one. Time to bunker down and do more research!

This is probably a little late, but I feel I should post this anyway as this was such a great (and my most recent thus far) event.
I loved learning stuff from winks about acrobatics. His lessons are always fun and I learn a lot, and I find myself even applying the stuff I learn out of game sometimes!
I also loved doing (shifty stuff that shouldn't be mentioned publicly for fear of consequences) and the thrill of not getting caught while doing them...what an adrenaline rush!
I was able to NPC for the first time during main mod, which was super fun because I was super-powerful for once...I think I was a good Morlan
This was my third event, but it was my first event that I was able to attend fully (came on Friday, slept over both nights, left Sunday) and the sounds of fighting outside my lodgings were some of the most exciting (and frightening) sounds I have ever heard. I can't wait until I can do cabin raids!
Going on tower mod and getting some cool stuff was great as well...I almost got a rune of vestments, but I can do with a socket instead,
All in all, I think it was my best event yet!
I hope to see you all at the upcoming event on October 4th!
