First event as Lord - complete, without major catastrophic incident. I should retire while I have a perfect record...
On the way to the event: Thinking to myself "Crap, I should have asked Norm and I to come dressed as each other's PCs for Halloween before the game."
Chicken a la Kleidin, aka "Chicken Goo" - YUM!
The realization during the event that I was pursuing the wrong Heroic, and what I was truly meant to be.
Cloak of the Green lessons on Sunday morning. Leaving my cloak as a diversion and it working. "Lesson learned, I would say."
Excellent RP surrounding Bloodtide, even if it was stressful IG.
"I am the dread lord Gideon!" and half of Kaladonia having a heart attack as I spooked them.
The maiden voyage of the Kaladonia Pellet Stove, as well as the one in the Inn. VERY warm, very efficient, and easy to use. Just need to clean them out more often...
James' RP as Mirrormere. Trying to keep Bloodtide and the Count separate was an added twist, but a lot of fun OOG.
"Wait, am I the only / highest ranking noble in the room? Crap." - more than one occasion.
Ethan's visit.
Daylight Savings, and an amazing night's sleep on Sat. night.

Friday night mod was great. Everyone in their own style coaxing a blade while being attacked by most excellent NPCs. Team attacking Aldric and Birgitta so many broken limbs and feeling no pain.
Fire and letters... Oops. Timing on the barracks fire being critical. On fire three times this event... Barracks and other things like walls and exploding bodies.
All moving to the Blood Spirits Camp... Everyone in the barracks now housed under my roof.
James as Mirrowmere possessed. Little cold there boss... I'm thinking ohhh shit. Blue dragon possessed and blue dragoon. This... Could be bad and... He's in trouble outside the Bloods Spirits camp... Rescue. And there's bloodtide. If I get near that thing I might have to help him. Lord Gideon making that much easier to avoid the conflict... And take my young ones back to the forge.
Stupid o'clock humor.
Final Master Warrior test... Yeah how do I handle an ambush... In the Inn. No no no no noooo... Not in the Inn you idiots. Yes all that was IC except the. "Ah no we are not on hold..." And I was not angry with anyone RL! I do hope my F Ing language in or as the angry commanding tone Birgitta used did not offend. Angry Merc came out after it sounded like something shattered followed on the full on wait the Guard is fighting inside the Inn... That's a finable offense! We look like idiots... Lesson or not.
But I was giggling manically after I got out of anyone's earshot.
And my Coast Havener tricorn get Grim team. Coffee contacts required... Payment in Reading... This is how I handle the other side of an Ambush. Flats of blades not assault. No damage but a grumbling Grim... Perfect.

OH MY GOSH I FORGOT
BONDING MOMENT WITH BIRGITTA AND ARDEN AND ROWAN AND SINDARION. MY HEART.
Lots of yelling and crying and moments of dawning realization.
Just. Good RP. The best kind of RP. The kind where your character realizes they need to make a change.
And
Unbreakable Voice/Requiem for the Dead, triage in the middle of the night.
OH OH AND
Getting to stand on a table, and declare "IIII TOLLLLDD YOUUU SOOOO" bahahahhaahhahahaha

well...they came to snuff the Raider...but he didn't die...at least this time.
Gideon paid the ultimate compliment to Donald: "That's why you're a smart warrior and not a dumbfuck with a sword." That made my event right there, as I wasn't terribly engaged in much after the death of the horrible scunner Zatar Kane until tower.
Having a respawned Brotherhood Of The Shadows NPC run right by me within arms reach. Nighttime Stealth Level: MACV-SOG- because Ninjas are over rated.
Tower: I apparently am the Travancian Weedwacker after cutting so many roots. Maybe people might realize that the short Celt actually has some wisdom in him.
Carrying Kitt back from the tower, and singing "Donald Where's Your Trousers?" Much hilarity.
Soul searching. all the soul searching. Kinda nice to do something not involving beating the crap out of things and visiting the monastery without getting dropped.
that's all I have. Until Next time: Wear Your Seatbelt, Don't Play With Matches, and Look Both Ways When Crossing The Street.

Wow, this event was probably my most productive one yet, despite only being there for 6-7ish hours.
Immediately upon arrival Saturday, I started talking to Haroldson about OOG life while trading for goods to then trade for lifestyle build. I never knew he was a national chess champion back in his day...did you?
Being bored with no friends and nothing to do, so I wandered off away from the inn and found myself on the complete other side of the game's property! I ended up spying on some voices I heard in a tent nearby. First time I actually used hide in shadows and, by the look of the guy's face (he turned around and saw me OOG next to the tent after stepping out for a pee), they had absolutely no idea I was even there. I was eventually caught, and learned I was spying on a "priest of Glomm." I still have no idea who that is, but he looked evil so I suppose I should be glad he let me go with no penalties (after a short talk, of course). Awesome RPing the whole time as well.
Tower mod. I love how much more difficult it is now that they've added traps (both visible and hidden) as well as enemies, so those combat-utility characters that have all those detection and rogue-like skills can actually use them and be actually useful to the group, instead of just being stuck in the back while the heavy hitters kill all the enemies. I don't know who runs the tower mod, but keep it up!
Learning athletic feat from Winks. I was picked up by Grimm and held upside down...and had to contort myself into all sorts of PAINFUL positions from there. Then I was thrown TWICE and landed on my butt both times, all with an amused crowd watching. Pretty much everything was sore afterwards, but it was worth it!
FINALLY GETTING THE GOLD I DESERVE. That is all.
Oh, and let's not forget self-teaching ignore poison. Now nobody will be able to interrupt my feast with a poisoned drink! Yay!
All n' all a great event and, while I might not be able to return for a couple months, I look forward to the event where I do return with great anticipation!
Until next time,

Well where to start...
Friday escorting blood tide and helping remove the brother hood of shadows from this world and almost having to defend against angels near the monastery.
Fighting Duncan while he was under litanies of doom and guarding focus for a good amount of time
Saturday started with npc shift
Lesson for low levels don't leave the tent when enemies are outside looking for people to fight (sorry Matt)
New player area aka mushroom mod made sure newer players had a blast and enjoyed the goblin RP between a goblin gambler and goblin npcs. Scared all of them by yelling beserker rage at one point to scatter the new players
Tower was uneventful for me being entwined in vines for most of it
Main mod had Myself working on organizing the lower level players to figure out how to stop something. Ended up helping dragging several people out but best one was makin it 4 steps with Duncan in crit before getting dropped myself
Sunday
Bran and I basicly brawling in beserker rage lesson so many outsiders asking about a problem happening... Later he taught me resilience too by having himself, Seamus, and Gideon helping
Then before layoff a few Northmen having barbarian "fun time" in 2v1 combat with healers just throwing points out and keeping it lasting longer and longer

Solid block of RP time as Blade.
It is weird having been so close to everything going on, but Blade being so far away. The strangest moment was after the event someone saying to me, "Who's Blade?". Looks like I need to get my reputation back. At least I got to have a nice cigar, warn people about how magic is evil, walk away when people started talking too much about it, go for a nice walk, and nearly get dropped by acid bombs.
Looking forward to helping to put together next event, but looking even more forward to the winter festival and January. Going to have to get some more work... been out of town too long.

Well it was my first event I went with my friend Nic (Cael Tanwyn). I missed the new player intro friday night but found a tent full of hookah and got the lay of the land from there. Saturday morning we met Val and the Captain and the four of us watched each others backs through mushroom hunting, tower diving, and main mod (HOW FREAKING TERRIFYING WAS MAIN MOD?!?) Fighting alongside Goliath during main mod through all of the confusion was particularly memorable. He knew how to take charge and I doubt we would have really made it out of there without him rallying us all together. Also meeting Alexander during the tower mod and learning all about business and gypsy tradition was very enlightening.
Easily my two biggest highlights were when Nic and I faced down a group of 6 trolls by ourselves as we were changing to head to npc. With a little bit of b/s and some wit we made it out alive. And then the legendary npc shift. If you heard chanting on Saturday night for over an hour that was us. Sorry not sorry for keeping you up. What was supposed to be a quick and easy 20 min mook roleplay mod turned into over an hour of ridiculous chanting, dancing, and two pcs being sacrificed to bring about an early winter on the steps of the Pendarvin state house. "We're literally murdering people"
I had a huge blast. I want to thank all the marshals, cooks, npcs, and people that helped make this weekend happen. I can't wait to come back in January. Sorry I had to take off early on Sunday and didn't really get to say bye to all of you incredible people. I don't have space to talk about all of the fun adventures and great people I met this weekend.

Kudos to Joe Bondi and MaryBeth for all the work they put into Main Mod, and letting me play an important role! I absolutely loved the scene and all the time I got to spend with the rest of the crew. It was great to hear peoples' reactions while we performed and later on when I was back as my PC, especially the compliments on both how well we did and how creepy we were. Oh, and you should've seen the look on MaryBeth's face when we told her we were going outside to rehearse! Jen, Crystal, and Lauren, I had a blast with you guys. Thank you so much!
NPCing with Matt M. and Jen S. late Friday night. You guys make a great team.
Traveling to alternate realities with Verrill LeBastion, including one reality in which Goggins had an army. Mmhmm.
Having a talk with Eevie and accidentally making her OOG double over with laughter.
Lunch at Market Faire from Sylus Crone/Goose. Both getting to have one of his sandwiches and sharing one with Wylla.
Meeting "Creepy Bard" and enjoying his performances. Walking with him and Trent late at night, getting asked our names by Grimkjell and the good Lieutenant reciting a law about giving an actual name.
Singing lessons from Trent. I'm already noticing a difference!
Bloody Stump nonsense with the regulars.
Stupid o'clock. Wow! It was late at night, of course, and I was with Tsoli in the kitchen. There was a fly on the counter, so I took off one of my hearth gloves and swat it.
"If anyone told you that Nalick Underhill would never hurt a fly, they lied to you."
Sharing puns and jokes with Sindarion and Tsoli, among others. "I'm a frayed knot."
Discovering that all the cake from Feast was gone, but there was still topping and plenty of bread. Combining the two and encouraging others to do the same.
Yoshimatsu making a bit of garlic bread. General silliness.
Lord Gideon ordering someone to stop hitting someone else with a loaf of bread.
Heading down to the Mage's Guild very late Friday night with Tari and Billiam.
Escorting Rowan down to the Mage's Guild late Saturday night. It's what a friend would do. The "f-ton" of chocolate I received didn't hurt either.
Being a part of Croi's 'Turning Tide' lesson on Sunday. There were so many people involved, and it was fun.
Getting myself into a bit of drama involving Arkelian and Tessa. Whoops!
A great weekend.
NPCing with Matt M. and Jen S. late Friday night. You guys make a great team.
Traveling to alternate realities with Verrill LeBastion, including one reality in which Goggins had an army. Mmhmm.

I only found out that I'd be able to play as a PC for this event only a little while before heading to Camp Sac, AND MY GOODNESS, I'M GLAD I DID.
"Hey, Verril, do you know me?"
"Well, no, but I know your daughter!"
What a way to set the tone of the event for Sindarion, Ben!
Finally meeting up with Owen again! Squirebros are back!
All the time travel that happened, and Sindarions vehemence to try and go to as many different timelines as he could. Also that final ending with Maja. Hot damn.
The "Skankytown Spanker."
Learning Riddle of Confusion from Croi. All the terrible puns, all the terrible jokes, all the stupid o'clock shenanigans.
Learning Double Cast from George. *berserker rushes at Sindarion* *gust of wind* "All right, but now try to split it into two. *berserker rushes at Sindarion* *gust of wind*
NPCing as the shirtless Frankenstein monster. Your assorted reactions warmed my heart and your fighting warmed my limbs! Special thanks to Jen for helping me with my makeup! Oh, and stage-fighting with the Count was amazing.

Where to even begin... this was by far my favorite event I've been to so far. Excellent roleplay, excellent mods, excellent marshaling, excellent lowbie inclusion!
- Guarding Bloodtide right off the gate, again. Not for long though, epic distractions every 5 minutes.
- ASSASSINS!
- Wandering around feeding Bloodtide and staying far away from Dimms
- Losing said Dimms in the chaos in an epic battle at the monastery involving angels and demons.
- Going on the search for the vampire Fredrick (spelling?) with all my new comrades and new town guardsmen
- Getting possessed and dropping several of previously mentioned comrades (Evil-Jikan: mwuahah)
- Trying to find a dragoon I trusted show me how to successfully call my dragon spirit but watching most of them being incredibly busy...
- It wouldn't be Shantytown without the awful smells of wet clothing and footwear!
- Heading off through a portal to another dimension and time, the steampunk dimension.
- Fighting for Goggins' Army defeating MechaGrim and Sky Captain Jun (This was so cool of an idea, I can't even express).
- Being the vanguard at the inverted tower fighting off the corruption in the land and getting tentacled. Oh God, the tentacles.
- *Foop* Dart in the eye! OWW
- Carrying around Maveith who's lost 2 arms, 1 leg, and has broken the other leg around the tower and throwing him through traps as he requested. "We've been through worse!"
- The look on the healers face when I carried Maveith back to the Inn. "What's wrong?" "I think the correct question is what isn't wrong?"
- The look on my face when I realized Bloodtide was in the hands of a Dreadnought and then logically realizing how that was actually a good idea.
- CAKE! It wasn't a lie this time, right Gina?
- Oh main mod... Such confusion, much fighting, wow... I think I downed more enemies in that mod alone than any other events combined up to it.
- And then not accomplishing anything and then drinking my worries away (Jikan never drinks normally).
- Witnessing Mirrormere almost slaughtering Keavy and probably the rest of Kaladonia involved. That was intense.
- The Shantytown Shanker and his super powerful shanker (And possibly the legendary triple shank of 3 daggers duct taped together for more effect!)
- Being one of the four kobold elementalists trying to bring winter early in Pandarven in a 'role-play' mod, and somehow managing to get two people into serious, and having them take part in the winter ritual 'sacrificing' them to winter.
- Chanting and singing so loud, literally every land could hear us.
- The amount of face palms I can't even do to express the lack of 'heroes' who showed up to find out what the screaming and chanting was about.
- Orophin's entrance
- The reaction from the poor witch hunter who was litany of doom'd and then freaked and dissipated herself. That's so metal.

Thanks for making me feel welcome at my first PC event! I resigned myself the whole first night to drawing swirls on my face in solitude, but I started getting my boots wet Saturday…
• GETTING ARRESTED WAS SO FUN AND I’D LIKE TO THANK THE TRAVANCIAN GUARD FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE (Seriously. I made like twelve friends right off the bat. Even though that person I waylayed’s sister is out to skin me)
• That Tower Mod. Holy gods.
• If you yell ‘Captain!’ in a crowd ten Coasthaveners will turn their head.
• “YARGH???!”
• The mushroom mod with my ragtag bunch of gypsy pirates. It’s going to be a long, whimsical sail with the likes of you.
• Using Valanye as an arm rest, cup holder, and potentially in the future a blunt weapon makes me very excited
• LORE SEA?? LORE SEA?!!
• Why do I get a sense of déjà vu working for Cipher…
• Ripping my ear off in the middle of combat. I’ll be sure to have it around my neck as ostentatiously as possible by next game.
• Kicking back with my Sylph pals. You’re a stiff crowd, the lot of you, I’ll show you how to cut loose next time.
Gorgonzola, Card, Cael, You, You, Ivan, Him, and the Other Guy—you’re all part of my crew now. Good luck.
Thanks for getting me situated with my character card and showing me the ropes, you guys. Lets get together and make some beautiful character development.

Friday night:
Fredrick mod was fantastic. Being told we had to keep the werewolf alive sucked for Wylla who had to spirit tether him.
Ghost kids...creepy ghost kids.
After the fight, going to the bloody stump with Tessa, Argyll, Asher, and Nalick so Wylla could, "Drink the vile away" after the whole thing with the werewolf. Sitting around the fire enjoying the company and all the lights suddenly go out. Even the fire. Scare Mortal with creepy music appears. After that was dealt with, more drinking! Nalick, Asher and Wylla got quite drunk. "Nalick you deserve someone nicer..errrrrr." Got to hear Creepy Bard and Trent sing in the stump. It was fantastic. Can't wait to hear them again. After that walking back to camp hand in hand with Nalick, because drunk logic.
After settling in to bed, what sounds like a fight breaks out in Kaladonia. After a few minutes of the fighting not dying down and hearing someone yell for a healer, throw on my boots to head outside. Get told to run to the inn. Get people to other healers. Decide to head back to camp. Met up with a couple other people holding a dying a person, get back to the inn. Group up with another fellow and Dimitri to go check out the field and make sure no one got left behind. Hear screaming in the distance. Ended up doing an impromptu patrol around the lands after not finding where the screaming came from. back at the inn. Asked if I have anyway to defend myself aside from my staff. Handed a grapling hook and told to get on the roof until it was safe as fighting broke out inside the inn. Sitting on the roof, see a person flee from the inn being chased by a floating head. Nope. Doorwick sees me on the roof and we have a nice conversation while I wait. finally off the roof and inside, ask if someone could walk me back to camp. Sleep. Finally.
Saturday:
Walking people back from the phocus. Had lunch with Nalick. Finding a very confused guy out in the woods. After talking to him, scaring him into the woods and calming him down, got him to the inn. Assisted Gwenyd to find out what was wrong with his brain. Tessa got waylayed on our way to the guard barracks. That was interesting. Tower mod was a lot of fun. Feast was delicious! Big thanks to everyone who helped make it and all those that helped set up and clean. Got tipped for giving Doorwick a back rub, yay! Main mod was fun. All the NPCs were fantastic, you guys were amazing.
NPC Shift:
Went out as some shambling horrors chasing a poor guy to the inn. Got my head lobbed off after death, haha.
Then went out as some werewolves. Might not have been the best werewolves, but the distraction worked!
Lastly, was part of what some were calling the, "The goblin throat singing" which was cobalds doing a ritual to bring winter early. Took down two players during that outside Pendarvin. One actually died. About an hour or so of that singing and chanting we thought someone would come and save them. One got saved, but she was not happy about that.
Sunday:
Had to heal up Nalick twice and repair his arm after he was used for practice. Healing training with Swyft again. Love our training sessions. Mock battles so the bards could practice. Running around trying to get Swyfts guard badge back from Clove, only for him to stuff the whole thing in his mouth and take my staff. He tried to sell off my staff but that worked in my favor since, "It wasn't worth selling." and someone ended up reforging it for me. Three way battle commences with Maveith, Erik, and Burkhart (i think?) and Wylla stays to make sure no one dies.
Lay off then on to the land of breakfast.
Great event and can't wait for the next one!

So for half an event this was crazy good.
Show up around 330 in Sunday, I have a grand total of 1 defense cast and boom 2 aoe 50 acids I get out get help and pick up Tobias that came in with me. Welcome to game huh lol
Get to the inn, Tari tells me I'm coming with her to get Jakob ... Holy crap timing
That whole mod was awesome
Come back talking with the masters, tari: I don't want to see Ethan, Ethan walks by.
All of the feels revolving that
Feast then bar shift/cleanup love my crew you guys rock
Vertical cuddle puddle
Getting told I'm in charge of taking care of the black sorcerer
Using my green mastery to it's fullest first event having it.
Luis, that entire encounter was awesome
Late night punnery with Croi, Nalick, Sindarion and company
Nalick would hurt a fly
Lessons in the AM getting one from a newer player and giving one right back. I ?? my students.
Hearing about my student becoming a potential squire. I loved hearing that, really made my morning!

Oh wow. So many this month... In no particular order:
The Pendarvin Moot (what little I was able to be there for), Stacey's wandering spirit (now named Anika) who was looking for a name, the realization that she could not come through the Phocus and handling her with Galen and Grim really really set the tone that this was a Hallow's Eve game, discussions of working with Clytie after the Brewery is in place.
Setup/Service for feast. I want to thank my kitchen crew. All of you are fantastic and we could not do ANY of this without you! You rock! Also seeing Crystal, Jeff and Jen in their makeup for main mod and wondering what they were going to be doing. Boy did we find out ;P
Being ordered by T'soli not to talk to Ethan about a certain subject. Also learning what Ethan looks like!
Sunday morning scrying for the Gem that was stolen using the Unicorn with Morwenne, Croi, Sir Danny, Ilana, Tari, Angelica and co. Getting a fire encased in ice! What? It was really pretty! Disappointed that we didn't get anything from the scrying, but that wasn't unexpected. Better to try and have no result. Sorry about the ice eyeballs!
Healer Storytime with Tori. Empathy lessons and discussions of healing with Lawrence. Learning lores and discussing theories with Lois, Belechand's reaction to said theory... Never seen anyone go into Quiet Contemplation like THAT before.
Main Mod with the Scholars: Jeff, Lauren, Crystal and Jen's performances. You guys were creepy, intense and fantastic! Never breaking character never acting as if they noticed us, even when we got up in their faces to investigate. At one point I was a few inches from Jeff and Jen watching their faces. Btw, yes I caught that small change in Gale's demeanor when Fallow said he'd heard so much about her. BRAVO GUYS! BRAVO!
Alternate Londwyn World: Alt Evie and Lois, Magitech!Grim and Evil Jun! Learning Goggins was not only a White Sorcerer in that world but in the Weave. Which lead to mental images of Goggins hitting the weave with a wrench trying to fix it. And the after-discussion with Lois!prime about her and goggins and finding out that drinks are very much needed! (Moreso now that I've learned some stuff OOG.) Gave Evie a big hug after we got back and she was like "Aww nice to see you too!" It was sweet!
Discussions with Klarrington and not!Verril about time and the things that can come about by messing with timelines. Verril already knowing that one of the NPCs that had come in asking for help was a Werewolf, and his constant creed of "spoilers".
The moments after main mod, sitting at the Inn with Cecilla, Tris and Rowan, drinking cider by the fire, listening to Rowan playing. Moment of total immersion there. It was FANTASTIC!
Dying. The NPC Cobalts were fantastic. First in trying to find someone to help us and when that failed coming in front of Pendarvin and taunting those in the statehouse, moving the bodies and yelling about sacrificing us to make Winter come sooner, yelling 'we're murdering people!' The NPCs made what could have been a total bullshit death absolutely amazing! So thank you! Lauren, I am still very sorry; very glad you didn't take a lifetag! Tim, THANK YOU FOR TRYING!
Dying part 2: Apparently scaring a few people with Thalia's rage when she literally burst into the inn screaming where the hell Arkelean was and the ensuing drama that happened because of the events of Saturday night on Sunday. Thanks to everyone! Love you all! :)
That's all I got at the moment. I know me, I will come up with stuff later and probably add it! Next month cannot come soon enough!

FINALLY. 3+ years of insanity: apathy cured by Ilana. ALL THE FEELS. At once. Lois is still reeling. For anyone who ever wonders while on their NPC shift what a random "go out there and die" NPC can do, it's this. One necromantic terror completely changed the course of a character for years. Don't ever think those little random encounters don't have any effect, because they definitely do.
SCIENCE! with Bolton and Amalthea all over the inn tables. Oh baby
Bolton getting really angry about Mercator coordinate systems. The things that set some people off...
Early Saturday morning shenanigans with Cypher & Ilana.
NPC'ing druid/sorcerer Lois Goggins. The way the whole mod was set up was really cool and a lot of fun to be a part of.
NPC'ing torturer mod. You guys were all great! I wish I could have screamed louder for you, but my throat was already shot
Lore: Time lessons. I love giving that one. It results in things like Thalia saying, "So Klarington is the tuna fish of time?" :3
The very first thing Lois saw when the time map was unrolled were the words "The Shantytown Shanker." I just lost it and could not stop giggling. I had just recently started formatting the issues of the very first Chronicle by Portia Rom to put up on the website, and the Shantytown Shanker figures prominently in them. They'll be up soon for everyone to read :)
Speaking of the Chronicle, I thought we had a really solid issue this time around. Keep up the good work, guys!
Celting it up in logistics with Matt C. and Jen.
Watching Grimkjell herd cats.
"Can you insult and deny everything we believe for us? We really miss Goggins."
Girl time with Meander!
Lois's first reanimation ever, and making Angeliana throw up as Lois (who had no real equipment) siphons the fluid in William Sterling's chest cavity out with her mouth.
And finally, Lois opens her very first higher list ever :3 Thank you to Belegchand, who finally found an hour of free time to teach me. I am so excited right now

Okay folks where do I start to spin this monthes Highlights?
Friday Night...long story short, I lived through combats, and unsuccessful treasure hunts. Helped protect Bloodtide with Sir Daniel, Mr. Dimms, Erik, and Swyft on and off healing us.
The Final Duel of Zatar Kane and the Brotherhood of Shadows.
After a few minor skirmishes , I went to the Oscliffe State House and pub for a spell then onto my Night Watch.
Finding out the the Barracks WASN'T completely destroyed.
Kalodonia saves Argyll McCoy again!
Saturday morning wild wake up, Zipeto npc shift...well that was violent. Matt I'm so sorry about what happened.
Dream Mod was so much fun, well thought out, and I really wish the players enjoyed it as much as we did.
After that, a few more Guard Patrols with the team and Arkelean...more downed undead.
Feast...wow, I tip my hat to the whole kitchen staff for a well needed and lovely meal.
The talks of Goggins...Cory...those tears and solemn looks for you were too real for just in game. You are missed, and loved by your KR FAMILY, I wish you will brother.
Main Mod I was stolen by the Celtic super group the Fianna. I am so glad too, we saved lived, and fought like a well oiled machine of kilted fury, great RP.
Alice, you rp like a boss. Oh, I also owe a few people a serious sorry, I was a bit wild out there, I don't need to know who, but you pointed it out, I will work on it. Thank you, we are all here to have fun. I aim to add to, never take away.
Okay...the Big Bad Black Sorcerer Necromancer that I THOUGHT Arklean and I killed was still VERY alive and soooo not the right one. Folks we bring in or take down the Evil Necromancers...it's become our calling card, Bad Cop and Worse Cop.
Luis...WOW, just wow...Zipeto and Oreos have competition for the most wild ideas.
To all those that aided us, thank you, for Arklean and I would have both been lost had it not been for you. The Mages Guild, Witch Hunters, and special thanks to Torq...enjoy that bloody sack of gold, you earned it. I know many of us were hurting after Main Mod, and we thank you ALL for aid us. The irony is...folks...i never really made it to the real fight, but i tried to take the Inverted Tower myself, loyalties folks. So again Luis WOW!
Lives were lost, and so many people fought to aid us it was the Wildest Night at KR I certainly ever had. Special thanks to those who gave all they had, you know who you are.
Knight Captain Magnus once earning his title of Immortal.
Arklean and Tesse= Close My Eyes Forever?
Who Guard's the Guard?
Argyll is off to repair the Barracks for now, till next moon be safe. Valos protect you.

Something I noticed about KR is that the more you play, the more ridiculous the plots seem. All the time travel stuff was absolutely insane, and future-past alternative Verril has somehow become my favorite Verril.
Friday:
Coming ingame to Dimms with Bloodtide, and a lot of confusion, especially about Bloodtide, and fighting a demonically powered Zatar Kane. He deserves Selendrian justice, and I am willing to administer it in the most painful way possible, which involves a tree, some rope, and all the raw meat and barbecue sauce I can get my hands on.
Travelling to the Golden Age to get Oathmaker. I have officially fallen in love with Berserker rage, because rp-ing it is intense. Losing control never felt so good, and attacking allies (Sorry Rowan) is a weird experience, but the beast inside Kanas didn't care. More enemies for him to try to slice up. I think the most poignant moment for me during that mod was making the promise to Oathmaker. It gave me a chance to reflect on how Kanas has grown since his first event, and that is not the scared boy from before. He found something to protect, and his oath upon the blade is going to help with understanding his future as a character.
Bran's course on how to become a badass. I'm trying, and one day, I will become as badass as he is. Just not so sure about the kilt.
Saturday:
The curse of the Ginosaji! Thanks Chris Scanlon, because I think I might have a spoon shaped bruise on my shoulder. Some murders take seconds, some take hours. Some take years.
Talking to Lord Silverbow, and telling him his chief responsibility as the lord of pendarvin, to take care of the grill.
The Druid mod, and how I completely didn't notice that Keavy is now a celt.
I wanted to go to the VIS timeline so badly, but I had to help the druids, so I missed fighting mecha-Grim.
The Ostcliff mod. I want to find that dark druid and give him a piece of my mind. By that I mean a punch to the face.
Feast was awesome.
Giving Oathmaker to Astrid was a moment where I got to really understand the responsibility of the sword, and that we will always be bound to our oaths, regardless of who has the sword.
NPCing as the Scaremortals in Main Mod was pretty cool. Seeing my fellow scaremortals look lifeless and like Scarecrows was a really cool scene, and the mod-site was incredible. A+ main mod, would NPC again.
Overall an awesome event and looking forward to the next one!

Oh man. This event has probably been my favorite yet.
Friday Night: Got to be a black dragoon beast that accompanied Miranda against the Pentir Knights. Amazing combat and roleplaying all around!
Playing mod boss for Matt and Jenn down at the caravans. Having everyone super worried about a frail and terrified man to suddenly being scared to death of a werewolf. the expression on people's faces when I physically tore my shirt open and start drooling fake blood was wonderful.
Saturday: Waking up and hanging out at the inn for an hour or so, just socializing. was a nice way to just relax. Then got to go to the Inverted Tower of the past when it was JUST a normal Tower. Had some fun roleplaying taking down demons and retrieving Agravane. Damn it, Burk. Stop making me fall down!
Being offered a spot in the guard then having to turn it down because my loyalties are with the Fianna. Sorry, guys. People think i'm a guard anyway. Can I just say I'm one yet? haha
Helping Argyll kick in undead faces. That's how we do.
Arkelian being shown a glimpse of the woman he loved one last time by time Verill and being able to say good bye and he loved her one last time. THE FEELS.
Main mod was soooooo cool. The Scaremortals were monstrous but so much fun to fight. Thank you for Teresa Amore for giving me the most badass one on one fight I've ever had. The both of us just laying into each other while people actually watched was epic and being able to just scream no effect like a boss at every mental effect made me feel strong. Then roaring at you when you fell....Arkelian is truly a berserker.
After main mod, going to the monastery to unwind with Seamus and Brann. I lived through the night, Seamus. I hope I made you at least a little proud. Then heading to Ostcliffe to take on a black sorcerer who was going to take Sanura and getting his with a trap that relieved me of my legs. Where did that even COME FROM?!
Going to the Bloody Stump and waiting for that necromancer to show up. Seeing the look of disappointment on Argyll face when he was forced to be left behind. Then the epic showdown at the Inverted Tower. Getting left behind and having dark....dark things happen to Arkelian. Where is this going? Only time will tell. Then poofing into the inn with everyone super worried about me. I didn't know so many people cared! Then having to console Sanura and tell her that I would have gone to the ends of the earth to protect her.
Finding out Amalthea and Thalia were killed heading to the phokus to to bring me back. The rage at what caused it and the guilt that it was my fault was really bad.
Collapsing drunkenly into bed that night and having Tessa show up, telling me she was about to murder people if Arkelian had been killed. Yay bonding.
Being questioned endlessly about what had happened at the Inverted Tower and feeling helpless when I didn't have the answers. At least Seamus isn't upset with Arkelian. I still lived....right?
Oh...and..."Almighty Malyc hear my prayer, your most dedicated servant beckons you to bring this child to life." and all the confusion that sentence brought.

This event was incredibly oog hard for me due to losing my keys, but I found them again, massive love, hugs and thank you to Alice forever.
Sending someone out to grab the baronial letters, and having it turn into a massive battle between Pendarvin and the barracks.
Late Night Scary stories mod with Chris Zipeto, Samantha Stassen, and Logan Arkay. We gave the wind and RP point because it was so dramatically appropriate, and we proved just how intense a roleplay session you can have in pitch blackness, with nothing but whispered voices and a few improvised sound effects was amazing. Especially when my NPC proceeded to go pal around with some Paladins after torturing the heck out of two townspeople. Love to you guys for being good sports about it, I never saw two people so happy to get insanities!
A very interesting lesson with Draven and Ketryn. I love Chris for putting me in some really interesting roleplay situations, and learning what sort of person both Draven and Grim are, under certain circumstances.
Playing Orion McBride was a privilege, and i'm glad it made the celt players who saw it as happy as it did. It was really a great month for NPC roles this month for me, between the guy I played during Scary Stories, this fella... and my next Highlight. Thanks for everything, Gene, I'll play roles for you anytime.
Protogrim, Grim-800, the TerminatorGrim, Mechagrim. He was all of these things and more to me. I got a chance to make my relatives and friends IG freak out as they faced an alt-universe version of their brother and leader. The fireworks were a bit hilariously fail, but the roleplay of the PCs, the combat, and the scenes Matt and everyone else set were top-notch. And thank you especially for the Scarf, Jen Calderon. I love how it went from NPC garb, to roleplay tool, to finally a time paradox completion tool.
Every interaction with Atrus was particularly great. They are dark reflections of each other in various ways, and the mix of OOG friendliness and IG awesomeness for Grim and Atrus' interactions makes it a real highlight of all of my weekends.
Saturday was a whirlwind of finding out A: I was going to be commanding the town while we went into the fields of fallow. B: Trying to figure out a tactical plan that would work. C: eating completely alone during feast because, in the end, a commander is always alone. The kind words and support and advice from every experienced person I went to was appreciated.
I will say I loved every aspect of leading the town, from organizing the groups, making sure they had information, to getting scouts out, setting up battle buddies, making the town swear an oath to leave none behind, to walking around the marching town like an angry sheepdog, barking at the stragglers until we all got there more or less in one piece.
The battle itself was great, Jeff, Mary Beth, Joe, and Katie did a faboo job setting up, the rules marshals were on point and helpful (Thanks in particular to gus!) Grim had a wonderful moment of RP where he faced someone he hated dying on the ground, and chose to abide by his word of honor and carry even that man to the healer. It was very intense, especially at the end when the death Knights and other things crashed into the struggling battle line around the healers.
The aftermath was wonderful too, as Grim made his apologies to the dead, Anhil and Alander played it perfectly, grim was sad he didn't know the name of the other casualty. Grim was much like Wellington after waterloo, wandering the field and reflecting the only thing more tragic than a battle won is a battle lost.
Sunday was very nice and chill once Alice found my keys. I had a great time roleplaying with Lord Silverbow and learning some new manuevers from him, as well as teaching others a few things. Ambushing Birgitta in the bar was a wonderful setup, and her turnabout later in the day was brilliant.
I want to give a special thanks to James Jones for sending out the thief who mugged Beardy featherbow, chasing Chris Mack through the woods at my age and managing to catch him was incredibly affirming of grim as a guard and a person. He's a wolf, and he never stops chasing until the hunt is done. It was also a nice moment with Tari as grim said to her, "Do that thing... you know, the thing where you make them not fight." Grim unhappily and angrily realizing the best way to ensure the safety of the town AND the prisoner was to ask the Master of the mages' guild to magic the thief.
Nice job by Duncan, Donald, and Alander dealing with the hobgoblin loan sharks and stuff. It was fun to figure out what was going on, then stand back and let the slightly newer players get the glory of all the buttkicking .
Before I forget, sending the arch devil of Malyc back to the mud with Bran, and our hilariously blood-covered faces afterwards was great. Everyone freaked out until they realized its just how we do when we rage. Labell vs. Edwin was also interesting to grim, particularly since the Cardinal is a galladelian. Well done on Zach for giving us a good fight with the devil, and Elias for providing just the sort of foul maleficarum for grim to blast through the initial spell with a spell cleave, then end the threat with a brutal Slay. I've realized that in some ways tag skills and when i choose to use them are really dictated by roleplay, rather than tactical decisions on my part.
Edmund Patterson gave me a great flash of insight into his personality in the moments after the execution of the traitor Aella and Grim have been separately hunting for almost a year, as Piotr Stanislav, one of the Lord of talenthal finally fell to the sword of Count Winterdark. It was a really interesting and chilling moment.
I loved the makeup for all the undead NPCs, I loved fighting the scaremortals, really, everything was done well at this event.

The event was chock-full of amazingly wonderful moments for me. To start, thank you everyone who helped run this weekend, it was absolutely phenomenal.
In chronological order:
- Creation of the Staff of Syrith.
- Reading the time map, and realizing to which timeline I would definitely go.
- Waking up, realizing the full implications of the Verdranne Blades being gone, and immediately entering a panic attack.
- Unified Tower Mod may have cracked into my top 3 moments ever.
- Meeting the Oracle. Marybeth, interacting with you for that was absolutely phenomenal.
- Fallow research with Mordra.
- Empress Angelica Tellinghast (I told you to let me give them the candy, Goose )
- Pissing off most of Kaladonia with the impromptu announcement that Keavy had had Bloodtide for too long. Sorry for all that Dani!
- Main Mod was super fun, sticking in the Scholar Hut. Thank you to all the NPCs who kept repeating the scenes. You were exceptionally creepy and wonderful and absolutely amazing.
- Getting to be the Shantytown Shanker and just straight up murder a bunch of NPCs.
- Had my single favorite NPC role afterwards as Cormac MacTinneas. Thank you Zach for giving me this role, and Caelvan, Keavy, and Danny for the great scene. I hope I struck the fear of Arawyn into you all .
- SO MANY SUNDAY LESSONS, including the Nerdiest Lesson to ever be Nerded. Congrats to the newest Sage (or Pioneer Academic, if you guys prefer).
See you at the December event (in November)!

I had an absolute BLAST at my first event ever!
Some choice memories:
meeting cade and cael and becoming brothers/sisters in NOT dying hahaha! and the somewhat (extremely) questionable leadership of colin. aka "captain"
having my memory stolen by a very sneaky goblin and acting like I didnt know who I was or anyone else (shoutout to my fellow new players who helped me out!)
"Wait WHERE did Sindarion come from?!" "I am everywhere."
Miraculously surviving main mod and reuniting with my group. XD "CAPTAIN!"...."VAL!"
"I started talking to you because I figured you needed Visigalis"
what are puns? what is time?
npc-ing as a berserker with a sword more then half my height and a hobgoblin grunt who got shut down before even entering the inn and being a skeleton and all around having a grand ol' time

Oh, added highlight. Helping name a wandering ghost which had no name, and thus peacefully sending it to rest. It was the most Galladellian grim will ever feel.
