Lost: Satinsky Clamp was created by geezer (geezer)
0300 Sunday, in the second small room in the monastery, after the Ilona, Ardin, Arabeth, and Edwin scene. Probably on the floor. For those without a clue as to what a Satinsky clamp is, it is a hemostat, curved at the business end. The clamping end has a ratchet which allows it to be clamped in place handless. The curved end allows part of a large blood vessel to be shut off, while still allowing blood to flow.
I thought it looked cool as a torture device, plus I actually used it my senior year of HS - as a surgical tool, not a clip. In addition to being a great phyrep, it has sentimental value, as Dr. Satinsky gave it to me. Google him, and discover a true Renaissance man of genius.
