Everytime I see glow sticks being used for a path or a barrier, I keep thinking there has to be a better way
Ikea has started selling some awesome lights all solar but this one caught my eye

I bought 8 of the cheap (8 for $20) solar powered pathway lights at K-Mart to see if they would work well enough to illuminate a path in Jamaica.  They work and hold up just fine.  They do need access to the sun during the day.  There is a one time assembly time of about 2 minutes each and they are put in place by the simple expedient of pushing the unit into the ground.

They would work gret around cabins in the Pocanos.  The advantage they have over Tiki torches is size and no fuel.

Looks good. Just wonder how long they need in the sun, etc.

Could these "sun-jars" be used for IG lighting?  They're a bit pricy, but way cool:

Thanks.

Wow those sun jars are very cool, I wish they were just a little less pricey.
