Has or does anyone ever make a group order from Atelier-Nemesis in Canada?
I seem to remember somebody asking or making a group order

You just have to make sure that they know not to put wood handles on your weapons when you order them.

Why would they make wooden cores for a latex weapon? That would kill the whole thing.

Not cores, but handles / grips - some games allow wooden grips for their latex weapons. Ateliers Nemesis offers hickory, etc. wooden handles, but they are not legal at KR, even if wrapped in leather or such.

This is the precise reason I will never order from them again. Thanks for bringing it up, Mike. I'm going to go cry in a corner now.

IF you've ordered recently, like me, and didn't know this, call them asap. Even if it is shipped. I called after that very timely info posted here (thanks!) and plan to ship it right back to them once I get my weapon. They'll remake the weapon with a non-wood core. You need to include a note with the weapon when you ship it back and indicate that you didn't want the wood handle because your game doesn't allow it, and you'd like an alternative handle. In my case, I asked for a foam handle that looks like a grip, with the leather wrap over that (for added protection I figure). They were pretty good about the change, but I'll simply have to wait a month for the new weapon is all (sniff).

Ah Atelier... the cursed nemesis (no pun intended) of Calimacil .
They make amazing weapons, but I'm honestly surprised they don't provide a checkbox or something like that when you place your order for handle type.

They came to our larp in Ontario and learned our requirements for our weapons. So when we order from them we send them a message first stating where were from ect. They do pretty neat stuff. They made my 15 daggers I have laying around.
