With the new Lighting Rules in place, you may want to consider picking up a battery-powered glowstick if you cast any light spells.

With Halloween on the way, a lot of Halloween stores will be carrying them for kids to be safe / visible at night, such as these:

They do, but you can use the stick without the flashlight.  It's nice if you need to look for something or check a card, but don't want to use it when casting Light.

It also has a whistle in case you encounter [strike]MattWhite[/strike] a bear.
