Cloaks/Capes for Sale was created by MallaidhMcSweeney (MallaidhMcSweeney)
Greetings, citizens of Travance!
Many of you have purchased items from my shop at the sign of the Crooked Pin at past events (and I hope many more of you plan to do so in the near future). With the cold weather coming up I thought it might be prudent to start making up one-size-fits-all capes and cloaks for sale. These would be made from 100% wool, which is water resistant, fire resistant, and of course, warm! However, as heavy wool fabric tends to be on the expensive side, I wanted to gauge everyone's interest before I ordered a great deal of fabric only to have it sit in my fabric bin until spring. So, if you are interested in a cape or cloak, hooded or unhooded, lined or unlined, please post here or send me a PM. You don't have to commit to buying one or send me a deposit, I'm just trying to see who's interested at this point. I'm also hoping to offer hooded blanket coats for those who prefer a sleeved outer garment that fits closer to the body. They look like this:

I'd like to thank all of my past customers for their patronage, and I hope to do business with many more of you in the near future. Keep warm and safe out there!
Your most humble and obedient servant,
Lauren Seyler

Pfft . . . this cloak looks way superior to the Snuggie. Now the
Snuggie v2.0
, that's a different story.

I was hoping for a blanket coat to use at kr. Geoff are you implying that snuggies are an acceptable costume for kr?

I believe that was in jest, Frank. imagine keeping a Snuggie on while fighting. The only reason I'd wear one was so I could scream SNUGGIE! on the way into battle.

I think Collin would look *smashing* fighting Undead and Glommites in a hot pink Snuggie! (And I have a bridge for sale as well... I might give you kudos for about 30 seconds for a tartan Snuggie, but that's it. )

I'm certain Geoff was absolutely implying that Snuggies are acceptable for KR. After all, Mike Urmy wore one all the time.
