My mothers trunk is currently full of cheesy paranormal romance books, I am not kidding there isn't room for anything else in the trunk besides these books. She is trying to donate them however the local libraries aren't interested... I can only imagine why. However I am willing to bring all of said books to the June festival if anyone is interested.

If they are in good shape and are part of a series I may be able to find a home in a book shop that is on 422 east of Reading.

While I doubt I have interest in reading such they may be very wanted there.

Books?

Well, me and my boyfriend go to this other LARP and his character in particular revolves around books.

Mismatched books preferred (one book of a series or missing a counterpart, or just singles in general)

and nothing history based (as much as we like history, our characters technically are meant to know little or nothing of it)

I'm saying.. about 10 books in total. Send me a PM you two if you think you have any titles that might work ^_^

Hey Charlie,
If you have any political, historical, sociology, or anthropology books. I know a certain girl who would love some new books to read.

Get at me on Facebook as I all of never check these boards but do, in fact, love to read.
Thanks so much,
Michelle

You've gotta be kidding, right Michelle.  While I have a few political and historical to give away, I have several running meters on just WWI and WWII (including some that referred to the World War, before they started numbering them).  Sir Winston's 6 volume history on WWII ("History will be kind to me for I intend to write it.") and more first hand accounts of the N. African campaign (choose between Rommel and Hanibal/Africanus).  In current events, I have things from Franklin's autobiography to John Marshall, Frankfurter, and Bork, among dozens of others.

After you get the free ones, I'll give you as much time as you want in the dungeon to select lenders.  They will be available very long term.  I'm not big into anthro, but I have a few on the US penal system's evolution.

I've got a bunch of books to get rid of too... I was hoping I could sell em for a dollar or two, but hey whatever gets them out of my trunk o_O

I recommend Book Mooch.  It's a website where you can list any books your willing to get rid of.  People request them, you send them off and get points.  Use those points to get more books from other people's lists.  It's great for a poor student like me who has more books than they need!

Good point.

What I should have said was.

"..has enough books that lugging them back across the ocean very soon will be annoying."

or

"..has a lot of books to trade off but a lot more books on my 'want to read' list"

Any of you have a battered copy of Kerouac's On the Road?  Or anything of a similiar Beat generation vintage?

I should probably read the entirety of the books I have to constantly tell my undergrad students to ignore when it comes to actually understanding the concepts of Japanese and Tibetan Buddhism...
