I was hoping if anyone would know where I could buy leather hide? I do hope to start making some armor and I can't seem to find a place with reasonable prices.

Try Moscow Hide and Fur. They have pretty good prices. Fur and leather are going to be expensive regardless of where you get it.

If looking for fur Don't rule out the venerable GoodWill/Salvation Army/ Thrift stores Many times fur or phoney fur can be had cheap

For $10, Seamstress obtained sufficient mink (so soft and warm) to line the cuffs and hood of a ceremonial robe. Goodwill and second hand stores for the win. There are places that sell entire steer hides, withj the cost based upon the gauge of the leather. Amazar (Paul S.) has a few sources as well.
