Has anyone bought weapons from Eldritch Armory

Eldritch is the only place that I've ever bought weapons from. Their quality is top notch, their service however is not. The makers of their weapons have a bad habit of going on hiatus randomly and for long periods of time. That being said according to their facebook they appear to be very active right now and if you are going to choose to order from them, now is one of the best times.

Crappy service aside I recommend no other weapons when it comes to quality and durability.

What Sam said. Hopefully you have better luck in contacting them, as their quality is second to none. I sent them multiple emails over a span of six months and never received a reply. If I try to contact them in the future I will be sure to use phrases like "Money is no object", "Fabulous wealth", and "Scrooge McDuck rich" in the subject line.

While we are on the topic of eldritch, you guys think that their spears that have the collapsable tip would be safe for stabbing with?

I am just wondering because I am thinking of getting one.

Actually, the staff I brought in this month was a custom order from them. It's mechanically quite sound, if maybe just a little on the hard side as far as firmness goes. They did a pretty decent job at following up, though I did occasionally have to push a little harder, i.e., check in every week or so, and they did get the order in on time after about 6 weeks, so I got to have it at the event.

However, the aesthetics of the weapon I ordered were quite under par for what I paid for the weapon. I was especially displeased with how many runs, drips, and sticks there seemed to be in the paint job, and how the shape they'd cut into the weapon was noticeably asymmetrical. My room mate agreed with me: if we were armed with the materials, it might have come out quite similar. When I asked about a refund or a redo, well, I *still* haven't heard back from them... so I think I'mna just stick to their pre-made items, at most.
