Theatrical Contact Lenses was created by Morwenne (Morwenne)
Hello everyone,

I'm on the hunt for non-prescription theatrical (read: cheap) contact lenses. I've found several reputable looking vendors, but I'm having difficulty finding what I'm looking for, for less than the cost of my first born.

If anyone can recommend a good vendor (or if you know of a company that carries goat eye lenses), I'd be extremely grateful if you'd pass on the information.

Thanks in advance!

Haven't used them before(just found them by search) they don't have goat, and I don't know if you could do this but maybe turning them sideways?
Again don't know if that'll affect the quality of seeing/what you want, but here you go

The Grimm Brothers require an Rx - I've already ruled them out - but thanks for the tip anyway!

US Federal Law requires all distributors & retailers of contact lenses to need an optometrist's prescription for contacts, even for non-prescription types. Theatrical lenses are the same. I went through this for a long while, trying to get colored lenses for an Alt character I was thinking of playing. It's been like this since 2008.

There are a ton of on-line places to order from, but they all need a fax from your eye doctor saying you don't need a script.

Try hitting up a convention, for gaming or anime - a lot of cosplay dealers have them "over the counter."

Alisia,
Some friends of mine are going go Anime Boston this weekend. I could ask them to pick you up a pair of contacts if you know exactly what you want. Send me a PM if you wanna go ahead with this.

I have ordered special effects from these people and simply not put in an RX and had no trouble.

Well, you learn something new every day - even if it may be bad news.

I will certainly look into Costal and Dark Knight Armory, see if I can't squeeze by. No vision insurance means optometrists are real expensive, and I was hoping to do this on the cheaper side.

Thanks for the advice everyone, I appreciate it :)
